I am surprised that something so over the top violent has found any sort of mainstream success. Shit on it as much as you want, but I can't think of a single other mainstream movie which has levels of violence and gore that come anywhere close to these movies, for better or worse.

Literally what is the point of this movie? It's just a Hallmark Christmas film interspersed with completely meaningless snuff. There's no purpose to the kills, there's zero plot and the entire thing purely exists as a vehicle to show off "practical effects" in the form of lots of squibs and rubber limbs. There's nothing about it that's even transgressive since every death is accompanied by goofy physical comedy and this weird ironic detachment. Since nothing is sexual or psychological all that's left is gore, which is lame. I genuinely feel like you could only enjoy this if you were a 40 year old single mother.
Just watch Gore Killer Toys movies are better than those Stupid Killer Clown movies
