Just saw this. It was kind of bleak and I feel like there's some kind of surprisingly deep commentary here on childhood trauma and abuse which is an interesting contrast to the cheesy nature of the rest of the movie. Aside from that it was a pretty okay flick. The kills were pretty good; the sled decapitation and naked chick impaled on deer antlers were probably the highlights. Also nice tits on skinny 80's chicks, don't see that anymore these days. Pacing was a bit mediocre, it starts slow and ends a bit abruptly and unsatisfyingly but whatever. For what it is, I'd give it a 7/10.

Good Full Moon-esque effects, can't decide between campy or serious at times, gets weird in the middle but decent ending, and almost all black cast, but it doesn't push any politics besides be a good parent. Overall, it's a good horror movie and worth a watch if you're bored. 6.25/10.
