Despite all the niggers, bad CGI, canon breaking plot and the jeet, what annoys me most has been the changes to the aliens.

Having the facehuggers just insert a beanie baby alien shows they didn't get the whole source of the horror with the facehugger raping you and pumping in juice. I know romulus also changed it but at least they kind of kept the black goo as what was shunted in. Then the chestburster itself no longer looks like some fleshy cock (or maybe it did to the jew writers).

Even though Prometheus and Covenant are awful, awful, terribad movies and were disastrous for the Alien IP, I have to give Ridley props for including disgusting gore worthy of being a part of Alien IP, and not forgetting that Alien is a rape allegory. Alien Earth has been pretty bland in that regard, and Alien was reduced to just a brute monster. Sure, people die and there is blood, and the eye-squid alien was somewhat new and interesting, but it's still just rather boring. Same with Predator: I doubt we will see Predator skinning someone under Disney, and we will never see anything like this in Alien under Disney.

Yes it has some utter shit like the stupid expedited aliens, the uncertainity of what to do with engineers and the abysmal space ship finale. But I'd say it's second in the series for attempting to recapture some of the esoteric horror and deep space mystery of the original. All the David experimentation on a desolate dead planet with grand, alien architecture. The shaw mutation, the new Giger imagery.

It falls short but it's the first film since Alien to try to recapture that threatening, lonely Alien feel.

Its more like the synth can hear their radio frequency and repeat it on a local level.
The xenos make noises in person too, its just they also have a hivemind. This hivemind, sending signals to each other, may not even be auditory. The show hasnt fully shown why she can listen into that. But she can only speak locally and not broadcast over the hivemind.
Think of xenos like people with radio headsets. Lucy, being a synth, someone is picking up these signals. She is then just repeating what she is hearing on the 'radio'. Then in person, she speaks to that creature.
