Crew standouts are a white male captain and a disgraced Ferasan diplomatic attache that routinely takes over at the tactical station but is technically not part of the crew so the captain and Ferasan can bang and become hopelessly codependant on one another. I'd also hire filk makers to create the themesong intro and have the crew regularly "play" the music ala TNG and their classical concerts.
