This, unfortunately. It's now a superhero show WITH NO SUPERHERO SHIT. S1 set a high standard and then they just slammed the brakes in S2. Each episode has about five minutes of actual content and the rest is just filler. Even if they wanted to focus on the gay relationships, we should already be deep in the alternate universe, meeting bizarro versions of Ginger Cool and Obese Black Lesbian, approaching the moment when Chris is discovered as an imposter, which is presumably still the S2 finale cliffhanger. Also, I agree with whoever said (old thread) that Vigilante in costume was 10x funnier than "Adrian".

I do enjoy Tim Meadows and Wild Bill Suckcock (press F). But we're already at episode 5 out of 8 and NOTHING HAS HAPPENED and presumably it will be another 2-3 years until S3. Incidentally, wtf has happened to television production? Think about X-Files or even more recent slop like The Blacklist, that managed to pump out 20+ episodes per year. I think it's more likely that Gunn realized at some point, while killing Jr off in The Suicide Squad was fine because he originally was going to have no further work with that DCEU. So Peacemaker season 2 doubling down on Flag Jr being dead in the main DCEU, does still leave open the door for Earth 2 Jr to crossover and essentially become the Jr going forward for the DCEU.
