Anyone ever think that this race really needed a proper slap down for their arrogance? Something like after giving a speech out they can statistically beat their opponent in any battle with their superior tactics only for someone like Gowron to come forward and ask "Tell me, in all your calculations did you ever account that someone will kick you in the nuts?" with the next scene being the Zakdorn being carried out on a stretcher?

I just finished The Deadly Years and what a fantastic episode. Not only do you get a great episode about the perils of old age but you get a smug Kirk at the end taking back command of his ship and showing that desk jockey commodore how to command a star ship.I know I have watched all these episodes before but if you give it a few years it is fun to go back after you forget the details. I suppose I am getting older just like poor Kirk.

In particular Times Arrow is always one that stands out that I watched when it aired.I was never able to watch DS9 when it aired because it was not being carried by a local channel but I did watch VOY when it aired. I didn't really like ENT at first but after it ended and was reran on HDNET I fell in love.TOS I discovered on reruns in my teenage years, probably the best overall Trek, but I love them all.I visited these threads whenever I end up re-watching Star Trek but I first encountered it a few years ago. >>214799436Could be a stand in for any occupier/occupied, Japan/Korea in WW2 (Comfort Women), Israel/Palestine, British Colonialism (see Dukat talking about the Parent/Child relationship.)
>>214799548while i do agree that they incorporated many aspects from many different occupying forces, because how can you not from a writer's perspective, i do still think they were primarily based on the current conflict happening at the time. all of the things listed here >>214794431 applied to russia at the time, and many still do to this day. east vs west is still very much alive, it's just that east has shifted from russia to china.

>>214799868i know its a meme but i genuinely despise the crew for the tuvix episode i already didnt really like VOY but I stopped watching it after this
>>214799786Maybe, but he's still wearing the soijack smirk
>>214799868When does this game come out?
>>214800030what is a right answer? kill two for one to live or kill one for two to live?
>>214800088Tuvok and Neelix already 'died' so to speak, they weren't killed by anyonebut it would be murder to kill Tuvix
>>214799868Keep them together, Neelixs' only real value is his knowledge of the Delta quadrant which Tuvix has. If Kes is lonely then Tom Paris can date her.
>>214800180>I just watched tribunalIm being watched
>>214800088Neelix and Tuvok weren't dead though, stating that they were is a false notion. If anything, they gained a third member of the crew.
>>214800112they can also clone him and immediately separate the clone without fully making him
>>214800203Just the state, bro, nothing to worry about.
>>214800180kinoI forgot this one apart from riker slutwearspoonhead kino>voyager borg episodegenuinely neat scifi concept

All victories come at a cost.
>>214799868Kill tuvix because he's ugly
>>214800180I love the public defender in Tribunal>I've won?>...they'll kill me.
