It's lost all over again. The only thing I was surprised by was how short the episodes were. Episode 7 was a full 20 minutes shorter than the pilot.

For example, Ridley told Noah about a cool idea where the alien beast kills the hero and copies her voice to trick people, and that shaped some scary parts in the show (even though that part was cut). Ridley has been part of planning since 2019, making sure it fits with his old movies. He did not do every little thing day to day, but his big brain and producer power guided Noah to keep the Alien feel just right, like the dark space horror and eyeball monsters.Without him, it would not be real Alien stuff.
