Why did the director pivot so hard into comedy (possibly unintentional at times) and "baddass psychic battles" so much? You see directors get stuck in a rut. become formulaic or prove to be a one hit wonder but this is one of the few times I've seen a director make a conscious decision to make shitty films and keep doing it.House of Sayuri wasn't even a bad concept, living with a vengeful spirit that they keep in check by shaming it and overpowering it. It was just done really badly.

What is the best Halloween or october themed Halloween anthologykino? Trick R Treat is obviously amazing, but are there any other noteworthy ones? Tubi seems to have a bunch, but they look kinda sus. I watched this one, I thoght it was fine, but could have been better, def could have removed a few shorts here.
