>Tfw you commit a warcrime just because you know Starfleet isn't going to do shit about it
Fuck yeah
Starfeet
>>214891812What the fuck is that supposed to mean?
>>214891784Might end up actually watching Spenser: For Hire and A Man Called Hawk for more rare Sisko screencaps.
>>214891673Nemesis was a good end for Data.I said it, Trekkies.
>>214891812I like the early episodes of TOS when people call it The Star FleetIts a slight difference but I dig it.
>>214891850Roots: The Gift
>>214891938Being trafficked by Janeway
>>214891938>>214891957Aw shit son
>>214891970Tuvok is in it too
The Picard show should have been a roundup of all the popular characters>Tom Paris and Geordi now work for the Maquis>Lt Harry Kim is their contact in Starfleet Headquarters>O'Brien is a professor of engineering, divorced from Keiko but they still stay in touch through Molly>Janeway is a decorated Admiral but somewhat eccentric and lives alone in a cabin in the woods>Seven comes to see her sometimes, bringing her kids to visit Aunt Kathy
>>214892143>Tom Paris working for the Maquisretard type shit
>>214892143>Lt Harry KimLt. (j.g.), maybe.
>>214892234Nog will be a Commander before that happens
>>214892143You'd never get Colm Meaney to appear in this shit
>>214892377He has a role in the following film and it is worth the watch. Its a cute little film
>>214892403What is this film about
>>214891730how did he commit a warcrime
>>214892427exactly what the title says. it is about the english surveyor. he goes to the town and measures the local towns mountain and decides its a hill, to short, and that upsets the locals.you get a bit of romance with the town trying to raise the height of the hill to make it a mountain
Is this Nicole de Boer, i think it iseveryone is in TekWar. It really is a whose who of canadian sci-fi
Did he deserve it?
>>214892403I hate his stupid face
>>214892680He reminds me of Marazhai the dark eldar from Rogue Trader 40k
>>214892621Who holds the keys to the mind yard?
>>214892463That's Stannis the Mannis' wife.
Name any moment in DS9 where>two female characters are talking to each other>they don't mention a love interest, starfleet or the prophets
>>214892143Dipshit, the Maquis were eradicated. Lurk moar and keep this crap to yourself
>>214892882any scene with kira and Ziyal
>>214892882That time Kasidy Yates cheated on Sisko with Ezri. There was no dialogue, just lots of scissoring.
Did the characters in Lower Decks get turned into borg and kill all their friends and family? I mean, everyone under 25 in the Federation who used transporters got borgified and went on a murder rampage right? So obviously that would include Lower Decks characters.
>>214892918You can't fight ideas with phasers
>>214892959I can
So begins STD season 4. I'm on episode 2. I remember watching this season. I'm sure there's like small stories in between, but holy shit it's basically an entire season of chasing an anomaly and Book moping. I do kind of like the new uniforms though.
>>214892882Do homos count?
>>214892955Yes, yes they did.
>>214892959The Maquis were a specific group of people living in a specific area. They were literally annihilated. Nobody was left to have those "ideas" because nobody lives there anymore.
>>214892974STD would've been a much better show if there was a season long arc about Detmer getting infected with the "Naked Now" virus. The crew has no choice but to sex her regularly or she'll die.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pj0plbE8LYEEvery time I watch this, I seeth at how much First Contact and Voyager absolutely fucked up the borg completely. Even on TNG you only really get 2 borg "collective" storylines, and then the rest of the time borgs are just individuals because the writers don't know how to write a collective, but at least those individuals were not part of the collective in that moment, any time the actual borg were encountered, they should have always been a collective. If they had a Borg Queen, she should have been nothing more than a conduit and spokesperson, not some seething melodramatic bitch at the top of heirarchy. Voyager should have made every encounter with the Borg a run and hide, and even if need be, sacrifice other ships and planets to escape. civilizations of the Delta quadrant should have all been hiding and living in fear, a "dark forest" scenario.
>>214893003Believe whatever makes you feel better, Feddie
>>214892974At least the colour are right. The main nigger girl is getting a bit fat though.
>>214893124Yeah I just like colorful Trek uniforms. It tricks my brain into thinking I'm watching some hopeful futuristic utopia
>>214893036You should play STO. In the very first mission you play as Federation character you are gunning done Borg drones left and right with a basic ass phaser
VOY would have been better if it was a TOS movie era ship, and they took the full 70 years to get home, using cryo-sleep to separate the seasons.
>>214891843If you watch early TNG you'll know.
>>214891957I think she even wears the same outfit in S1 of VOY?
>>214893003what about those people sisko and eddington rescued?
>>214892918To be Maquis is to resist, and to hide in plain sight. That's something that feddies can never understand and can never take part in.
>>214893240And the writers could kill off anyone they wanted without any drama by blaming it on cryo sleep failure.
>>214893315They were all executed as common criminals and heretics
>>214893318The Maquis were useful idiots used by both the federation and cardassia to keep tension on the border and appease the hawks in their governments without going to war with each other again.
>>214893282It's not even a prop, she dresses like that IRL and brought it from home.
>>214893240Might have been coolVoyager was launched right around the time of Generations, the audience might have liked to see those red uniforms and 80s aesthetics on tv one last time.
Kate Mulgrew is so perfect bros
>>214893404i believe that is what they call a handsome woman. a very classical type of beauty
>>214893404
>>214893357>Mulgrew wasn't even meant to be in the movie.>She just showed up on set and they rolled with it.
>>214891673Wesley Crusher is relentlessly handsome.
Klingons are shit and Discovery was right to try rejig them and reboot their retarded nonsensical culture. The issue with Discovery is that it's fucking dogshit and they did jack shit with it trying to just make it a Trump/Evangelical Xenophobia allegory, when Klingons are a multi-species empire.
Odo shouldve gotten with Troi's mom
>>214893765he did didn't he?
>>214893036I think the Queen in First Contact alone could have been justified as an adaptation to the situation they're in - few in number and cut off from the Collective, if they operate as normal then anyone they assimilate will have an outsized influence on the hive mind and compromise it. Kind of like when Seven tried reassimilating those three people. So the Collective places the Queen to act as a master control unit to keep all drones on the objective in the past, and linking up with the 2063 Collective is a priority
he's right about Klingons, but I just wish we wouldn't focus on them so muchliterally everything is about Klingons, focus on some other aliens for once please
>>214891730That's the advantage of being in charge out in the edge of nowhere.>>214891861Spiner was just sick of having to spend 4 hours in makeup every day. Then his career went nowhere without it. Be careful what you wish for, I guess.
>>214892955That incident (from PIcard S3) didn't happen until 20 years after the events in Lower Decks (set around 2380). Learn how to tell time already.>>214892990That goes for you, too.
>>214893347Whatever lets you sleep at night, Feddie. Movements don't die; they simply go underground.
>>214893935Spiner seems like an asshole somehow
>>2148940186 feet undergroundcuz it died
>>214894018I'm not Freddy, freak. The Maquis were never a legitimate military threat to anyone but themselves. This was proven when the dominion conquered them before the Jem'Hadar even needed to re-up their ketracel white.
>>214894018Only rebels from that specific border world are true MaquisAnyone else is simply sparkling rebels
MAQVIS are TRVE patriots
>>214894231they were idiotsthe federation would have relocated them to another planet. do you remember the episode when data had to save the colonists from themselves?its the same bullshit
>>214892143Tom wouldn't be a deadbeat and leave his family to join the Markey. Again. He only did it the first time because he was running from his past. He has a lovely wife. A daughter. Community. Now. He has nothing to run from.
>>214894157>never a legitimate threatThat's what Obama thought about ISIS.
>>214894306Isis is still around. The maquis were completely, totally obliterated in a single afternoon
>>214894283>the federation would have relocated them to another planet. They don't want to be (((relocated)))Once you let the feddies (((relocate))) you, then you're their property, their pawns. There's no end to it.
>>214894304In the Picard era his daughter is fully grown, and Tom is old. He could be impressed upon to help out the underground in small ways, for all sorts of reasons.
>>214892955Well its NuTrek so its not canon but since we're running with it I always thought that is a plot point its basically fucked Starfleet. After the slaughter you're going to end up with a lot of very old Admirals and a lot of very young Captains plus a lot of basically traumatized kids who got to experience being Borg'd. Things might be so bad they may have to promote Ensign Harry Kim!
Tom Paris might not join the Maquis in the future era, but Nick Locarno would. He's a desperate ex-con with nothing to lose.
>>214894018I can think of one movement that didn't go underground. Your bowel movement. It went up. Into your head. Shot for brains. lol. I'm just messing with you, kid
>>214894356>Things might be so bad they may have to promote Ensign Harry Kim!He might get a temporary field promotion to Ensign First Class (special rating just for him)But then revert back to Ensign as soon as the crisis is over.
>>214894330the only reason they were on the planet to begin with was because the federation placed them. those worlds were originally federation and then swapped in the treaty with the spoon heads.there is no point fighting and dying for land when you can just go to another planet and start over without consequence.they would have been supplied with replications and whatever else was needed for the new colony. the biggest hardship would be what a few weeks on a star ship, big deal, just play in the holodeck till you arrive.the macquis were children playing war because they were bored
>>214894374All I hear is globohomo faggotry, from landless elites who live on starships and never touch the ground.
>>214894374Yeah you've never had to till the soil in your life.
>>214894417we are not talking a people who had been on the land for countless generations and even if they were what matters is family, people.if you can just travel to another planet and get land the value of the land is not much.its not a noble or worthwhile fight
>>214894343Tom was never a sincere Markie. He wasn't ideologically driven to the cause. He was a mercenary. He'd have no desire to help. Canonically, in the PIC era. Tom spend his free time assembling a '71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda. One replicated piece at a time.
>>214894283Heya hoya heya hoya why does the Picard force us on the Trail of Tears?
>>214894374The federation didn't place them. They were a bunch of congenital malcontents who purposely settled on the very edge of federation space to be as far from federation control as possible, while still being in the federation.
>>214894470>You could have stayed on earth if you'd just stop fucking children and drinking listerine.
>>214894470stone cold silver fox
>>214894328>ISIS is still around, despite America's best efforts>noooo the Maquis were obliterated, the Federation said soYou're really not grasping this, are you?
>>214894470>Heya hoya heya hoyaWhy does this always make me laugh so hard? Am I really that racist?
>>214894557The Maquis said so you fucking moron.
>>214894476So the federation placed them there
>>214894611and they were proven to have been lying
The Cardassians want war!Look how close their territory is to our outposts!
>>214894683where is cardassia prime?where is wolf 359?
this vulcan comes across as super fucking rapey
>>214894706Consent is illogical!
>>214894706mind rapey at a minimum and yes he was clearly not in control of his emotions regardless of his claims
>>214894683it's a shame that there has never been and probably never will be a canon trek map of different species' territories. I swear I've seen something just like this but trill is closer to the center of the federation, the ferengi are where the tzenkethi are, and the breen are wayyy off to the "east"
You made this happen.

>>214894754>>214894828It doesn't help there a contradictions especially since some of the early RPG source materials were made canon. There is an official book though and >>214894683 is actually based on said book.

>>214895549S3 did
>>214894828Man, it's so sad that one supernova destroyed the entire Romulan Star Empire. What a supernova, though. Must've been a big one.
>>214895570What about this? Is this memory holed?
There's been a concentrated effort to get people to refer to STD as "Discovery" or "Disco" ever since it was cancelled, as a way to "soften" its reputation.
>>214894828>>214895025Cardassian territory is huge in some maps and tiny in others. I think it makes more sense for them to have less territory but be heavily militaristic, kind of like an old school Prussian state. It also supports their "little brother complex" they seem to have with the rest of the alpha quadrant.
>>214895549why not everyone else is
>>214895647MMMMMHMMMMMM
>>214895606It woudl have been better if it was a realistic supernovaMoving at the speed of light, no faster, taking years to cross the space between stars, very gradually eating up the Romulan Empire from inside.
I'm just watching Hannibal and noticed that the fungus gardener is named Stammets.
>>214895669Supernovas aren't that big or destructive, though. No way it takes out that many star systems. Too much space.
>>214895549Shatner would never have done thatHe has integrity, and cares about Kirk as a character.
>>214895686Hannibal season 1 will make you really wish Bryan Fuller would've stayed on as the showrunner for a Star Trek show.Hannibal season 2 will make you want to throw Bryan Fuller off of a building.
>>214895686Paul Stamets is a famous real life fungus scientist. Lots of shows reference him.
>>214895651Maybe it's just the Mercator projection.

>>214894754a canon map is impossible. the shows dont give enough detail and arent consistent about travel anyway. in tos and tng theyre supposed to be further out than any human has been but they go back to earth or some starbase at least once a seasonand even the detail we do have makes no sense. klingons would have made first contact long before the vulcans
>>214895744>klingons would have made first contact long before the vulcansGo on.

>>214895804problem?
>>214895761>>214895774the klingons are basically right next door and conquer ever world they can find. they dont give a shit about warp capabilities or cultural contamination.
>>214895707Yes, but Stamets Actual would be aghast at the butchering of actual mycology in STD. It's on par with the asinine interpretation of introns in Genesis
>beep bop
>>214895814Did it leave a Supermassive Black Hole?
>>214895842the vulcans are still closer and more advanced
>>214895864the vulcans are not more advanced than the klingons and the vulcans wait until planets are ready before making contact. the klingons do not wait
>>214895892>the vulcans are not more advanced than the klingonsThe Vulcans have telepathy and can store their katras, which means they have a greater unbroken body of knowledge.
>>214895910You realize the Klingons have computers, right?
>>214895892yes they are its constantly stated that vulcans are one of the first races in the alpha quadrant to have warp drive, tng ds9 and ent all say this
>>214895921you realize so do vulcans right?
>>214895910in ent the vulcans dont have transporters but the klingons do. exact tech varies but its well established that the klingons were warping around before the vulcans
>>214895921>You realize the Klingons have computers, right?Which I'm sure they consider dishonorable to use as compared to memorizing an epic poem in iambic nonometer while blitzed on bloodwine, so they won't use them.
>>214895922that is literally never stated
>>214895959It's stated multiple times.
THE ANCIENT FEDERATION TEXTS
>>214895947no it isn't quite the opposite in ent t'pol says when they started exploring their were almost no other races with warp but more importantly in ds9 quark says and I quote>Once we get things in order here, we'll contact the Ferengi homeworld and sell them our ship. The Ferengi will have warp drive technology centuries before Humans or Klingons or even the Vulcans.">Or even the Vulcansthis makes it very clear that the vulcans were before the klingons and the humans

>>214895727Neat. Still how long would this process take? 10% of lightspeed to 250 light years
>>214896061Klingons and Vulcans achieved warp capacity within the same timeframe.
>>214896125now now don't go moving that goal post refer back to quarks statement>even before the vulcanswhich means they were before the klingons

>>214896177obrien didnt fuck pregnant kira
>>214896183how so? he's saying that ferengi didn't have warp tech before even the humans, thats his entire plan to give the ferengi warp tech before>the humans the klingons and even the vulcans which means they didn't have warp tech before any of those races, learn to read jfc

One of my all time funniest scenes in DS9 is when Dukat welcomes the female founder to the station and does his whole spiel and she gives him this look of utter contempt and loathing; who the fuck is this asshole, how dare he even speak to meThen she immediately him off to bitch about the minefield and Dukat just holds his mouth open in shock, he's at a loss for words
>>214897712you may not believe me but I was going to say sacrifice pt 1 changed my mind at the last minute my mistake
>>214897753didn't she cut him off mid speech like>Oh so you're the fucking retard who hasn't taken down the minefield yet?>Yes, Founder this is him.lmao
>>214897828Yep exactly I also love Weyoun agreeing with Dukat until his god is there then he's like YEAH DUKAT YOU IDIOT
>>214897905i just rewatched it lol Weyoun got all upset when Dukat tried to take credit for "winning the war" and then afterwards the Female Changeling is like >Odo are they always such fucking petty bitches like that?>Yes, they are for a matter of fact.>It must be so hard for you, Odo.>Yes, it is.pffffthahaha. god I love them.
>>214897944Another great scene is towards the end of the show>May I present Gul- sorry, LEGATE Broca! Okay, so your first order of business is to give a speech reassuring the Cardassian people that we only have their best interests at heart->THAT CAN WAIT.>But that can wait.
>>214897987there was another petty moment I remember when they are watching Fed troop movements with her and Dukat is like>Sisko is such a clever man I would have expected no less.and Weyoun is like>Hmm yes very clever...And then Dukat is like >Oh you see it too? Why don't you explain it to the Founder? And of course he has no idea he just wanted to look smart in front of her.
>>214898053>no-no you go aheadwhile the founder is rolling her eyes not giving a single fuck about it
>>214896442>a small drop of this stuff is enough to create a black hole large enough to consume a supernova>lol let's just throw a cubic meter sphere of it on the spaceshipGod I hate JJ
it's weird talking about him makes me happy.
>>214898329weird how*
I wish I felt happiness.

>>214898449I wish I had money.

>>214896612>The Search>Part *3*Wtf? There's only two episodes named "The Search"
>>214898663man you really get me. that basically sums up what I find so endearing about him.
what was her problemalso where was ro laren in this episode
Weyoun is uninteresting
>>214898785t. Keevan
>>214898738CRYSTALLINE FUCKING SHITS
Who has the best Trek midriff?
>>214899013gul dukat
>>214899013
>>214899040>>214899044>>214899051Nobody wants to see mandriff. As for Sarah Silverman, as obnoxious as she is now I thought she was cute in this episode.
>>214899092I want to see mandriff.
>>214899092shut up fag
in the DS9 book the costume designer said how amazing Marc Alaimo is for not having an ounce of fat or bulk on him.
>>214899135since i am frogboiling myself into writing a rock opera about dukat, i will include mandriff as you will be the only one watching it
>>214899170he a lean boi
Damar is relentlessly handsome
>>214899174Bless your heart.
Who is the most handsome man in Trek? And why was it Nimoy
>>214899241We don't stop until Audacity shits the bed or I buy all the RAM in Taiwanhttps://vocaroo.com/1eGmoZ1YmL8t
>>214899271This is beautiful
>>214899259if you’re including one off characters, definitely Captain Okona
>>214899271a while ago I said you should try making a SWR style one. this is kinda the vibe
>>214899383Do you think he banged the prince and/or princess?
Another thing that gets me is how Dukat is constantly seeking Sisko's approval. And he feels genuinely upset when he doesn't get it. What is it with their one-sided relationship?
>>214899403The plot will be: having fallen into the Fire Caves, the Pah-Wraiths return Dukat to his beginning, It's A Beautiful Life style, where he is given the chance to make right what went wrong.but of course, in his mind he did nothing wrong, so he ends up back at the fire caves again, very confusedsome people write fanfic on AO3 and some people fill up multiple hard drives like the Brendon Small you get from Wish
>>214899447he rightfully admires Sisko and is upset and confused that the respect he feels for him isn't reciprocated.
Because deep down he's wracked with doubts and wants someone to tell him he's good.
>>214899482DS9 is truly an amazing show that inspires creativity in us all. i need to work on the new watchalong ad but the state of the thread lately has made me feel discouraged
my gf also make this face when i get the wrong portgod im lonely...
>>214899486>>214899489That's what makes him one of the best villains in all of Trek. He doesn't want to blow up the universe. He doesn't have a superweapon. He's not constantly after revenge. He's complex and multi-faceted. Sometimes he's not even the villain; he can be helpful. His softer side shows a lot. Even when the writers try to ruin him in the last season, he's only after the Pah-Wraiths' power because that's what he THINKS he needs.
>>214899590yeah really. when you think about it what other villain not only sees but actually appreciates and likes the genuinely good aspects of their enemy? he sees himself in Sisko but it's a really twisted delusional mirror.
>>214899590Dukat thought he had it all with the Dominion. Finally, people will respect him.And then the Prophets nuked their fleet. What's the natural course of action? Get rid of the Prophets. Acquire the power of the Pah Wraiths. Finally, people will have no choice but to respect him and acknowledge his greatness!
>>214899680that's not what happened though. i mean, that was not his thought process at all.
>>214899702Is it not? To be fair, the annihilation of the Dominion fleet and the death of Ziyal drove him into insanity.
>>214899831well that is not how I remember it because in a scene that was extremely painful to watch Dukat and Weyoun basically have very on-the-nose lines explaining to the audience that his megalomaniac arc is over (they basically say this verbatim) and that his new enlightened purpose is cosmic and spiritual annihilation of Sisko (and everything he represents). by destroying the Prophets he can destroy him and the Bajorans. he no longer cares about what anyone thinks. he is insane and doesn't care who knows it. Damar and Weyoun look on, horrified.
Neelix fucks hard and deep
Cardassians are so fascinating to me. You have a people who are driven by intense jealousy of their neighboring powers because they have more access to natural resources than they do. This forces them to fuel their war effort and conquer other worlds to drain them of minerals and food until there's nothing left, and then move on to the next one.
>>214900479no doesn't seem like thats the case at all, their own "empire" seems to be doing just fine with what they have it seems like they hate that others are more advanced and aren't willing to wait to improve themselves rather they want to just take what others have
>>214899831to be fair the dominion had infinite resources and the wormhole was only a shortcut.
>>214900516>hate others more advancedBajorans weren't more advanced, at least not technologically. Perhaps the Cardassians seethed over how much richer the Bajoran culture was?
why didnt the dominion simply close the wormhole from their side and be done with it?
>>214900743bajoran culture was a backwards agrarian caste system dominated by a corrupt clergy
>>214900743Im talking about the war with the federation, not some backwater shithole
>>214899447sisko is a jerk. he leaves his pregnant wife forever at the end of the series. worse than that he lies and says hes coming back.
>>214900765almost like they're called the Dominion for a reason gee what could that possibly mean hmm very tough to figure this one out
>>214900841their stated motivation for the war was defending themselves from federation agression. closing the wormhole accomplishes that. if they wanted to expand their empire they didnt need the wormhole, they just had to wait since the founders are immortal and can make infinity clones for war.
>>214900841Another great Weyoun moment is when they're leaving the station and he takes one last sad look at it because he genuinely likes DS9 and being the big cheese on it
>>214900884>their stated motivation for the war was defending themselves from federation agressionbruh not to be mean but are you fucking dumb?>>214900902despite all the headaches I really think he did enjoy all the colorful characters he got to meet
>>214900804
>>214900940The Founders wanted to quash Federation expansion right then and there. Even without the wormhole they probably figured that in 200-300 years they would still make their way into the Gamma Quadrant. The Founders need to protect themselves from the Solid threat no matter what.
>>214900838>>214900804and yet the spoonheads, even after DECADES, of occupation couldn't suppress the people
new>>214901148>>214901148>>214901148
>>214901106if only the high command had given Dukat the tools and leeway he needed, he could've made Bajor a paradise they would've built statues of him
