How do I learn composition?

some connesieurs of the art may argue that it is bach from whom composition is learned, but i find mozart more agreeable and in general more fun. first, try his piano sonata no. 11. second, if the first fails in its instruction, begin with his piano concerto no. 21. the composition must be played on repeat until there can be no secret between it and you. only then will you have mastered the art of composition.

do you guys think that the japanese are just one big contiuous art piece, and that instead of attributing plagarism to ozu it is more appropriate to attribute plagarism to nippon as a whole? stephen prince in his commentary on kagemusha covers this in little detail when the dead are gathered round and placed in a pile with their swords as if to dignify their being with the perceived beauty of art, of some painting of sorts, in order to "strengthen the resolve of the living."
