A while ago I read an old Sci-fi book The Sky Is Filled With Ships. It has some of the best space battle scenes I've read. I don't think any of the sci-fi movies I've seen has managed to capture space battles the same way as that book.

It's a sci-fi franchise which means it attracts autists. For whatever reason, lots of autists need everything to be nice and ordered and logical. What the stupid fucks don't understand is that Star Wars has never been anywhere close to logical. Even a more "grounded" sci-fi franchise like Trek takes massive liberties that the autists overlook because they're just not smart enough to notice them.
