American Psycho at its core is aimed at young men who feel lost and disconnected in a world where only status, money and superficiality is being promoted, where there's no shred of honesty or morality left in an ultra capitalist society, and their hardships of frustratingly trying to fit into such a world that is so disgustingly substanceless that the only thing left they can express is the desire for violence and destruction.This is what American Psycho is truly about and yes this is the OG incel movie.
