Gul Dukat did nothing wrong.
>>215949486Deserved
DDNW
>>215949511It is not, Riker was particularly hard on him. Punching down is not ok.
>>215949522based
>>215949523He was a freaky sex guy in the holodeck, completely deserved. It's like if the app that allows you to speak to an AI version of grandma also allowed you to make an AI version of any woman of the street where they're madly in love with you.
>yeaaaah HI we're the Dominion. We're not your friend. We're just a pissed off sovereign nation after listening a gorillion times doing pic related I have to say I actually prefer the version that says "Klinnons" because the beginning part in the fixed version has an awkward buildup section before the first "Terok Nor" part and also there's something weird where it sounds like it randomly dips volume or something. you can tell I'm deranged because I've shared it with my friend who doesn't even watch DS9. at first he was like "I thought this was gonna be Star Trek why are you sending me this slop?" but then he was like "Wait, I like it"
>>215949563We have no evidence that there was any lewdness in his programs. Troi and Beverly were fully clothed in period costume. He was a fellow Starfleet officer with the ‘tism, they should’ve been nicer to him.
>>215949511>>215949523>>215949563Riker was consistently shown being way more freaky and rapey in the holodeck than Barclay
>>215949634True actually. He was probably projecting his perviness onto Reg, who did nothing wrong. Everyone knows about Riker’s little erotic holoharp setup in his quarters but nobody hassles him for it.
>>215949634Yeah but he's hot
>>215949607He had holo-Troi say that he should cast off his inhibitions for love, you know that Barclay used her.>>215949634Riker didn't have a holoprogram where he had a foursome with Troi, Crusher and Ro.
>10 seconds after OPkek all I had to do was shranpost twice and now he's autistically obsessed with refreshing for new thread because of stolen meme valor or something
>>215949710yeah he is. you can interpret Reg's holodeck fantasies as scenarios he made meant to make him feel empowered and confident among his coworkers since he doesn't feel it in real life. Riker's shit is always about just jacking off.
How can I support the Trabe and their fair and just treatment of Kazon shits?
>>215949760weirdos are dangerousthey should fix their shit before people's lives are put in their handsriker is being a healthy human being
>>215949759you don't shranpost you just obsess over me because you have no friends. if you did actually post about Shran instead of try to ape everything I do it would actually be fun but alas
>>215949773Always with the antisemitism on this website

>>215949926I don't see it but maybe you have a good explanation for why that's the case.

>>215950036he's not a normie, don't worry
>>215949926Riker had a healthy libido and was fooling around with a holo-program of a historical figure. He wasn't creepily lusting after his co-workers in the 'deck like Barclay.
>>215950046so no then. if you've got issues, get them sorted. talk them out. rationalize them. don't just pretend other people are the problem and expect them to bend around your malfunctions.

>>215951840yeah they do
>>215950751>Mike Okuda casts his Japanese friendBased
>>215951874No they don't. They're clones grown in vats, they don't have any biological need for sexual reproduction and the changelings are jerks who don't care about the physical comforts of their servants.
>>215951968yeah, they do. they have tits, they have pussies. obviously they're infertile clones but they don't literally not have genitals.
>>215951982
>>215951982>they have titsSo do trannies but no sane person would call an axe wound genitals >they have pussies proof?
>>215952163>proof?It came to me in a dream.
>>215952163>proof?i have tasted one
>>215951818no meanposting pls
>>215951968The Founders would give them dicks and pussies for infiltration purposes. They'd craft the perfect honeypots.
>>215952467No they wouldn't. The founders would just infiltrate and be the honeypots themselves. You're upset because their lack of genitals ruins all your gay Weyoun fantasies but if you weren't such a faggot you'd see the logic to it.
>>215952529i don't have any Weyoun fantasies like that you're literally being illogical and hysterical because of some agenda you're projecting onto me but the Vorta are descended from a sexually reproducing baby monkey like race there's no reason to engineer them to retain ONLY breasts but no holes because they're infertile anyway and can't feel pleasure from anything other than a Founder's gaze upon them. plus they are shown eating so the piss and shit gotta come out somewhere just use your head anon come on it's Star Trek
star trek butt stuff with weyoun
>>215952599also not that it matters but if I hypothetically did have any Weyoun sex fantasies they would be heterosexual only thank you very much
>>215952599>piss and shit gotta come out somewhereA cloaca. Or they could sweat most of it out the way Thomas Jefferson claimed negros did, adding to their stench. And where are the female jem'hadar?
>>215952691>hysterical because of some agenda you're projecting onto me It's not like I'm samefagging by blog
>>215952620He doesn't have a butt either
>>215952735that's not what samefagging is.
>>215952006What is he doing to her? Is he bending her over!? What the Fuck!?
>>215952529>The founders would just infiltrate and be the honeypots themselves. You forget that the female Vorta was designed as an infiltrator in the debut episode of the Vorta.. The Founders had no choice but to infiltrate themselves later on as the Vorta were known but their tactic is to use the Vorta as agents and stay back as the invisible gods.
I didn't like that the Vorta were clones and could just be remade over and over again. It cheapened their existence.
>>215952807>It cheapened their existence.that's why it was actually a genius thing to do because the Founders don't value the existence of any solids at all
star trek scaly handjobs with remata'klan
>>215952807They just did it because they wanted Jeffrey Combs back. A worthy price.
>>215952781shes giving birth
>>215952885he said on one of those panel things when he had the part in Meridian they were telling him they'd like to bring him back to do something else sometime where you can see his face and he thought they were just blowing smoke up his ass and thought nothing of it but then he ended up coming back even after they literally killed his character off. I can see why he thought it was bullshit because if you look him up he really does do mostly oners on TV shows for whatever reason.
>>215952768Were you responding to yourself?
>>215952782The female appearing Vorta might not have genitals either and could be doing some madame butterfly shit for their "seductions".
>>215953109no I was amending what I was saying with information I forgot to mention the first time. it wasn't a response.
>>215953161But you responded to your previous post, yourself. You're the same fag for both posts.
>>215953260as someone who always gets called a pedantic fuck who just likes to argue around here, I'm not even mad at you anon. you are my Tellarite brethren
>>215953141You'd probably not want to constrain your honeypots so much. Sure you could program all that kinky shit into her but at the same time you'd want to make sure they can provide pleasure meaning that they'd have to have genitals in case a simpler approach is better. Especially if it's long term. Same for male Vorta.
the honeypot infiltrator angle is so laughable to me because you only ever see them utterly failing to persuade or manipulate anyone from the Alpha quadrant no matter what (except for Dukat but he's a different story). they literally exude autism, put everyone off, and can't be taken seriously.
>>215953654It's more just that Weyoun is an ass.
>>215953974it's not because they're all like that. Kilana had everything going for her being cute and pretty with her titties out and everything and even still she couldn't get Sisko to trust her when a Founder's life literally depended on it. Keevan gives off serial killer vibes and straight up defects or whatever and Yelgrun and Lusara or whatever her name was are pretty easily bamboozled. they all fail at their jobs.
>>215950625>>thinking about re watching TNG for the 4th time>only 4th timePathetic
There's something abuot the first TNG season studio lighting that is really interesting. It kinda makes the series look completely different compared to all the other seasons. The very late seasons looked so polished and brightly lit. First season looks interestingly grungy
>>215954267it has very harsh lighting and shadows. there's not much ambient light and everyone casts a pitch black silhouette. it's at odds with the set design that would suggest the lighting should be cozy
thinking about putting on some Star Trek Voyagerkino for this feel?
>>215954395
>>215954395Lolita
>>215954414>we need to portray this character as evil>I'll get the black leather gloves
>>215954446You clearly don't know this episode, do you? That's the point. It's an incorrect recollection where history paints the Voyager crew as mustache twirling villains, black leather gloves and various other tropes included. It's an episode about how easily history can be misunderstood and distorted.
>>215949458
>>215954059To be fair, most Vorta we meet aren't agents. Weyoun, Kilana and Keevan and Lusara were commanders of the Jem Hadar. Eris was able to pull the wool over everyone's eyes and it would have worked if it wasn't for Quark wanting to profit over her fake slave collar. If a regular Starfleet ship were the people who fell for the trap then she would have been able to nestle in as a spy.
>>215954516i simply ignore Eris and Borath or whatever his name was because they were the first ones you ever see and they retconned stuff and fleshed them out more later. Eris had fucking telepathy and the benefit of Sisko and Quark never having met a Vorta before you can't use her as a good example of their actual abilities
>>215954516also Weyoun is not just a commander of Jem'Hadar he's the head administrator of the entire war effort and I would say in that capacity it's probably the one time a Vorta actually was pretty damn good at their job. only 5 though the rest suck.
Does this picture actually sum up the Janeway/7of9 dynamic pretty well?
>>215954720not really because it was Mulgrew that savagely bullied Jeri Ryan on the set
>>215954537>>215954579The situation in which Sisko and Quark met Eris was one completely engineered by the Dominion to try and get her to infiltrate the Alpha Quadrant and Starfleet. I imagine it's one of the Dominion's typical ploys to insert Vorta into civilisations. So in that sense, the Vorta would be good infiltrators of a typical civilisation. As for Weyoun, he does become more important later on but he is initially just another Jem'Hadar commander and while he eventually does become the only solid the female changeling ever trusted, it seems more like his duties get expanded.
>>215955067i mean you can imagine stuff all you want but I'm basing it on their performance record as borne out in the show and there's really nothing that says there's any distinction between an "agent" and a "jemmie wrangler." like Keevan certainly didn't cut out for either thing it kinda just seems like you do whatever the fuck the Founders tell you to do regardless of your personal skill strengths or affinities.
>>215954473What did I say that was incorrect?
>>215954906source?
>>215955592>I was bullied so hard by mulgrew on the set of Voyager that the only way I could deal with it was by going to sex clubs with my husband to get fucked by multiple dudes while he watched Jeri Ryan
>>2159545795 was the only one that had genitals. The others were floor models.

>>215949607> He was a fellow Starfleet officer with the ‘tism, they should’ve been nicer to him.If Barclay had Data’s autism, the kind that lets you become a master at sign language for if you ever meet a deaf diplomat, then he would be held in much higher esteem. Poor guy got the strange and offputting autism that has no practical uses.
>>215956467it was real good for programming the holodeck
>>215956467>>215956487Don't forget that by the time of VOY, he's some kind of radio savant: he works out a way to communicate with Voyager even though nobody believes it will work and they try like hell to stop him from attempting it. Clearly, he was just underemployed in the old Engine Room.
>>215956534LaForge wasn't very good at managing his people and probably wouldn't have been chief engineer for long if he didn't have Data to lean on for the technical aspects of the job.
>>215955841Naomi Wildman is cute and funny!
>>215956717Stfu chomo. She added nothing to the story.

>>215957518no
>>215957439I guess it just never fell of fashion, Bashir was right, Earth has been pretty culturally stagnant for a while in the Trek universe, the characters are either into stuff from centuries ago (Shakespere, Jazz, B-Movies) or alien art (Klingon opera, Cardassian lit). You rarely hear much about contemporary art. "Photons Be Free" was one of the few examples, and that was just based Doc libelling his coworkers, hardly an original work of fiction.
>>215957677>Earth has beenRo is of Bajor howeverthobeit
>>215957394it's a diamond select statue from their femme fatale lineshe and ro both have the same empty autistic gaze, like I think it was diamond's house style or somethingso weird>>215957439didn't it start with kirk and they've just kept it going since then?>>215957518we went into the 09 trek to make out but I actually liked the movie and wanted to see what else was out there

>>215957702True, but Earth basically dominates the culture of Starfleet, almost all their ships are named after old Earth ships, or historical figures from our planet. Consider the USS Hood, Starfleet would rather name a ship after a looser then give it name from Vulcan history.>>215957830Yeah, it started with Kirk, presumably just to give him a "futuristic" hairstyle, the other shows just carried on the tradition.
What's everyone's favorite comfy episode, even if it is nonsensical or not very well critically liked? For me, it's the Royale. Season 2 of TNG is unironically my favorite season overal.

>>215958201hehe I wish a bunch of stern Vulcan scientists would strip me down to my wires if you know what I mean
Computer, show me /trek/'s wires.
>>215958201They try to take O'Brian's daughter away after she turns into a savage, actually "try" is an understatement, there were no legal obstacles to overcome, it was just a question of physically arresting her. Starfleet is also allowed to pass sentence on Bashir's dad (a civilian), there's not much you can do if Starfleet wants to get it's hands on you, Data has equal rights, which is to say he has almost no rights, just like his human crewmates.

>>215955592Sorry, I took a nap.But they've both talked about it extensively. Jeri Ryan brought it up at conventions and stuff first and now Mulgrew always expresses regret about how she treated her. One thing she would do is reported mess up takes on purpose knowing Ryan couldn't get out of the catsuit easily to use the bathroom.>“If I had to go, it was on the radio, ‘Jeri’s going. 10-1. That’s 20.’ … Because, you know, I had to have somebody dress me and undress me. It was a 20-minute thing to get me undressed, go to the bathroom, get dressed, go back to set. … I actually got so sick my first season … because I felt so bad … I just did not drink all day. And I got really ill.” >According to Garret Wang, Mulgrew once told a line producer “Jeri Ryan is not allowed to use the bathroom unless she uses it before work or after work … It takes too much time to get her in and out of that suit.”>Mulgrew has taken responsibility for the tension. In The Fifty-Year Mission: The Next 25 Years, she is quoted as saying: “This is on me, not Jeri … She came in … she did what she was asked to do … It’s on me … I probably should have comported myself better … but in the moment, it was difficult.”>She expressed hurt that bringing in “a beautiful, sexy girl” (i.e., Seven of Nine) felt to her like undermining Janeway’s role.

During the episode, he shared an interesting story of the time VIXX’s managers thought the group was being kidnapped in Kazakhstan.N shared, “We were taking a bus to the airport in Kazakhstan to return to Korea. However, when we arrived, as soon as the managers got off, the bus took off again. We asked where we were going, and the bus driver told us that because checking in was going to take a while, they were taking us to the airport lounge first. We believed them, so we just slept in the bus, but our managers came running after the bus while yelling.”He explained that the members had simply thought that the information hadn’t been properly relayed to their managers, and just felt thankful thinking they were just being treated as VIPs as they headed towards the lounge. The managers arrived at the lounge soon after the group but then the bodyguards refused to let them in, even though VIXX had asked them to. N added, “The guards told us that our managers couldn’t come in here because only distinguished guests were allowed.”N continued, “But then the doors opened one by one, and this one high school girl came inside. We were like, ‘What is going on?’ She was the country’s princess.” N proudly shared, “Apparently the princess was a fan of VIXX, and she liked me the best. She wanted to shake hands with us and take pictures, and that’s why she had kept us on the bus. That’s when we learned what was going on.” N added, “We later heard she was actually the president’s daughter [and not a princess].”

What's the consensus on Kirk's death in New Generations? Because I think it's bullshit.
>>215962799Pretty much everyone hates it past and present except Rick Berman
>>215960695
>>215962818>Rick BermanI would take him back in a heartbeat. Put him and Braga in charge of Star Trek again, give them a budget, and a mandate to produce twenty six episodes a season and I would be happy.Even if the best episode they could make was only a middle of the road VOY or ENT episode in quality I would be happy.
>>215962799>>215962818This. He's been brought back in multiple non-canon or quasi-canon entries like The Return (1996) or The Last Starship comic, which just recently launched. It was a shit ending to such an incredible character. If they absolutely HAD to kill him off, they should've had him go down with the Enterprise, on the bridge, surrounded by fire.
>>215962852Sure, I agree with you. Berman did make several completely retarded decisions but most of the ones he made were pretty good (before ENT anyway)
>>215962878The only way I would accept a Kirk death in Star Trek is him going down with his ship in some whacky way where he somehow saves everyone but is the only man left onboard
>>215962878>If they absolutely HAD to kill him off, they should've had him go down with the Enterprise, on the bridge, surrounded by fire.that is true to his character. kirk only loved one woman, the enterprise, and I fear people don't understand who they are writing anymore. He gave up his admiral position and risked a court martial and more for his ship and his friends. If he doesn't die in some type of personal sacrifice for his friends he dies on the bridge of his ship.
>>215962758"Heh heh... heh heh... that's nice... MOOOOM!!!"

>>215962295I'm going to assume you chickened out. But just know that I've already attributed a bingo card with this thread's transgressions, and if you peep up once more about bingo card, I'm ready to roll.
>>215962925Best way to do a Kirk death is heroic self-sacrifice for sure but there should always be a tiny window of: maybe he escaped.Because he's Captain Kirk and he can always overcome the odds.

>>215964691If by TNG S7 situation you mean everyone being burnt out, possibly. I think it might be more likely that they absorbed the bad writers from STD and PIC into what was originally a spinoff with less oversight
>>215964691>>215964794Yeah, was gonna say this. It was... okay, it was still shit, but it was less shit before, and then the people on STD and PIC were super fucking butthurt that the most well reviewing live action series was the one trying to be at least a little faithful to TOS and just diarrhea'd all over it as an act of petty revenge. That bitch from Scrooged has the worst voice I've heard since, ironically enough, Bobcat Goldthwaith in Scrooged. You could fuck a dragon in mid-flight, be someone's poop, experience being born again, put Worf's head on Deanna's body with Riker's dick and have that thing piss into Picard's open mouth while a trio of Datas in ballerina outfits perform Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy around him, record that, and anonymously send it to Picard to see his reaction. Are romantic relationships between family members permitted in the federation?
If, for example, a 12 year old Wesley Crusher were to be having sex with Beverly Crusher, and Data walked in on them, would he be compelled to report them to the captain?
>>215965538there is probably age restrictions in place so he couldn't
>>215965501Logically, the primary objection to incest is the medical defects of the children and the power imbalance of an inter-generational relationship. This is why Vulcans allow only gay/lesbian incest and only between siblings or cousins. Anything else is simply illogical.
>>215965430In my smutty fantasies Ezri Dax discovers Seven of Nine after Voyager returns to the Alpha Quadrant and Ezri helps Seven express her human emotions which eventually devolves into kinky and illicit sex in the holodeck. This is not enough for the two and Seven who desires a level of closeness that is unavailable when two people are simply physically intimate ends up attempting to use borg nano probes during their escapades. As you can imagine the nano probes go crazy and their captains do not approve of a holodeck being transformed into a borg sex dungeon.
>>215965501Almost certainly. There'd have to be at least a couple member planets that didn't make it taboo worldwide, and with genetic repairs the making retards thing is removed too, so I'd say between two consenting adults it'd be completely legal. The real question is, would bestiality be allowed? Given the Kzinti have joined the Federation and their females are literal animals without higher brain functions, as well as the multiple times accidental breeding or mating or impregnation has occurred with lesser/greater species and there being zero repercussions for the Starfleet members involved, at least legally.
