M3gan!
Just marthoned picrel. Anon that rec'd it was on the money. It's not bad, it's not great, decent acting, ok plot(s), practical effects, and just what you'd expect. Has a shorter run time (71 min) so it didn't get too monotonous. Not a waste of time or a must see, jsut something to watch I would have probably never heard of.
>>216023126downloaded the male gender
>>216023126The climax of this is a Casper style CGI ghost doing his standup comedy routine for a crowd so he can move on from this realm

The Night of the Reaper main theme sounds good on surround sound
>>216024971Oh yeah, that movie was surprisingly good with a great ost

The last movie they watched I think is Opera. lol. Idk, I have too many favorites now. I liked Death Walks On High Heels.
> A mysterious killer is murdering fashion models by using a black cat's poisonous claws. The boyfriend of one one of the victims overhears a conversation by someone he believes may be the killer, but can't identify him as he is blind

>>216025368Five Dolls for An August Moon is great
>>216025218I have watched a few films of theirs there. Amuck being one of them.
>>216025682
>>216025808>>216025682> The Crimes of the Black Cat (which often goes by its rhyming Italian title, Sette Scialli Di Seta Gialla, or Seven Shawls of Yellow Silk) is a fantastic giallo in the classic mode, even if it borrows heavily from other films. The killer's method comes from the 1940 Bela Lugosi film The Devil Bat, The fashion house setting and most of the plot comes from Blood and Black Lace, the blind detective can be traced to Cat O'Nine Tails, a slow-motion shot of a woman going head-first through a window comes from every Argento movie ever, and the brutal and highly graphic shower murder is an obvious homage to Psycho. But even though it appropriates all these elements, The Crimes of the Black Cat synthesizes them in a clever way and it turns out to be a very satisfying movie, highly indicative of the genre.
>>216025682Comments online say the shower kill scene is one of the most disturbing in any giallo

Alright /hor/riggas, I'm home and have time to squeeze this in. Hope Eli Roth wasn't lying when he said it was bone chilling and skin crawling.
Just finished. (it's The Crazy Family, 1984.) Not a horror movie, but it's an Error4444 joint, and it fits in with their mostly horror catalog. Manic satire that gradually reaches a fever pitch, something like if Aykroyd and Belushi's Neighbors went further and more hysterical. It's from the guy behind the classics Angel Dust and Electric Dragon 80,000V, highly recommended.
>>216027520I don't hate Eli Roth by any means, and actually like his movies, but the guy's an idiot.
>>216027548A little bit bit yeah. Hope he can do something interesting with Thanksgiving 2.

>>216028620> Chinese is an ugly as fuck language Cantonese is ugly but I've grown fond of Mandarin
>>216028402There are tons of Koreans around me and I've started noticing how gross the language sounds. Like someone speaking Japanese with an Arabic accent.
>>216028674>turn on a japanese kino>what the FUCK it's KOREANmultiple times. seems like an irrational dislike because I can't explain it. not a fan of italian either, again no reason.
>>216028597>Lil Klaus
>>216028674I watch a ton of Korean movies & shows so I'm used to how they sound, same for Japanese. East Asia is pretty good language wise. I have no reference for Mongolian. SEA languages are pretty hit-and-miss.
>>216028556>Lol, I always thought this was a gangster movie.>The one with a tranny in the lead, right? No, that's the 1968 movie. This is a different one with a similar name
Hello Korean lovers! Just finished. Another dark comedy. A family buys a mountain resort and business is zero. They finally get some customers, but then they all die in bizarre ways and the family has to dispose of the bodies to avoid any publicity. This was remade by Takashi Miike in Japanese and as a musical as The Happiness of the Katakuris, which is probably a lot more well known now. Most similar thing I can compare it to is Danny Boyle's Shallow Grave, except this is hilarious. Strong, strong recommendation, I loved this.
>>216029017And like every other Korean movie ever both of these motherfuckers are in it
>>216028759Oh, this looks very Chinese. I didn't realize, I would've caught my mistake
>>216024207ngl the trick where she put the contacts into place was inventive

Watched Black Phone 2 and thought it was an above average movie.
>>216031160It was cool to finally get 28 Years, but it was a bit lackluster plot wise. Also disappointed with the infected

>>216026720>bachelor partyIt is absolutely about them being WHITE MEN BAD.
This was decent as mockumentaries go. except for the ending. why do they always break the format by cutting in "and then this happened" footage with zero explanation?
I watched dead end. Nice movie. Thanks for suggestion. But there is no screaming lady in white dress.
