I appreciate how consistent the na'vi are when it comes to fighting. They're not used to actual battles, but they're very used to hunting so their battle tactics are to pounce on the enemy and deliver a massive blow.But then if that doesn't work they will scatter and retreat even if they're at an advantage.They consistently do this throughout all three movies. Relatively few na'vi actually get killed, but they retreat when the "prey" doesn't fall fast enough.

So I just finished watching Way of Water and it beat any and all expectations I had-- though I didn't really know what to expect and the runtime looked daunting at first sight too, but it was a genuinely a great movie, such a fucking beautiful spectacle, competently directed and awesome action scenes, one of the best movies of recent years that I've seen. I haven't watched the original Avatar in years and don't remember it thinking it was as good, but I digress, anyways, all the shilling for Fire and Ash is what got me to watch Way of Water as prep, but would you guys say Fire and Ash is much better than Way of Water? That's the only way I can see Neytiri going to Earth.
