Why Will being dusted made him sensitive to the hivemind proximity but Holly having the same felt nothing in her 5 minute escape.
Why Henry's blood could make other psychics but no one else could, yet still assumed 11 could.
Why did Vecna need dead victims in S4 but need live victims in S5 (and S1 retcon)?

Some lingering questions as a whole, but nothing I'd say that is more jarring than the divergence between S4 finale and S5 start. The 4-gate terraforming Earth, the bats, Vecna getting stronger with every kill, it had a grand stage only to get time-skipped, bandaged (literally), and somehow less tense with more villain preptime. Vecna's only threatening action the entire S5 was mass summoning demogorgons, which permanently vanish the same way as the bats just after.

Honestly the thing that irks me the most.
Im fine with their open ending idea, her disappearance being the end of their magic childhood. Them moving on with their adult lifes and all. I think that fits. But why close the door for ANY possible future reconnection? Feels like such a big fuck you to her character, framing it as unrealistic when even Max got to be 100% up and functioning again.
I like the idea that she has a new chance at life for which she gets to choose the definition of, and at an appropiate moment of time she gives them a little insight into it.

Conformitygate is, that the show isn't over, there's one episode left. That's the mega super cool "Plot Twist." I won't go into all the fan theories, but they have made some sus connections about the ending. But the meat of it is, Mike Wheeler and the Party lost to Vecna and they are now all imprisoned in his mind. That's why the boss fight was so short and easy and the epilogue was all fucked off.
Personally, I think the Fluffer Bros, tried to imitate the ending of Inception, since none of their ideas are really their own and they're shit creatives, they fucked it all up and now have to explain in interviews, why the final season was such a fucking mess. Only did it to leave the ending open ended for future spin offs.

I liked the finale on new years but looking back that was just the nostalgia factor of seeing those kids you met a decade ago growing up and the cast looking sad as shit. the fight was Marvel CGI and ends stupidly, they clearly barely thought anything out 11s ending makes no sense whether you're in the lived or died camp on top of that other stuff left too open ended and the Duffer bros won't shut up giving interviews.
