Some people find that using humor when in a tough situation can help alleviate some of the adverse effects of stress. >Indeed, for many, laughter can help shift their perspective, help them avoid cognitive distortions such as black-and-white thinking, and see things more pragmatically. This is because humor can provide some distance between yourself and the situation, which can help you defuse from it and see it in a more realistic light.>To that end, maintaining a sense of humor can be a very effective and helpful coping mechanism for psychological well-being, even when life is not going the way you wish.

>>217207848Picardo is just happy to be working once Voyager ended. Not like Joe Dante is making much these days.
>>217218069I was just asking because that seemed to be the consensus, that Mike McMahan is a sex predator.
>>217218054Many of you, at multiple times. I would say "don't play dumb" but you really have no other option.
Speaking of Mike, his Hulu show wrapped up last year, but he still has an office on the Disney lot. Pixar Mike?

>>217218117His career is pretty much dead. Golden Axe has been sitting in the can for two years now and Hulu is no rush to show it.
>>217218170>His career is pretty much deadWhy didn't he just listen to the fans?
>>217211571no, he was an original soong work however they collected B-4 parts, hacked him with some malware, and planted him to be found.
>>217215721samewhen they put STP S1 & S2 on Pluto to promote S3 release, I just tuned into something else for the week

>>217218253Rather odd to boast about not watching Star Trek in a Star Trek thread.
>>217218093That's not even the consensus of everyone in your room in your mommy's house.
>>217218170Golden Axe is still in development, and in any case it's Comedy Central, not Hulu. Amazing how you can pack so much wrongness in such a small space.
>>217218350You seem kinda hostile bro. I'm just asking questions. Do you disagree with everyone else about McMahan being a rapist?
>>217218392He tried. That's what's important.
Star Trek is only valid from September 8, 1966 to May 13, 2005.
Bashir's being a real soulless fag here it's almost like he's not even Starfleet
>>217217157I would have S E X with Lauren, whose only major malfunction is that... she's too horny???
>>217218401That's not the sort of thing that's subject to opinion or consensus. There are no public accusations of sexual improprieties of any kind against Mike McMahan. You may be confusing him with Michael McMahan, a former police officer who was terminated from the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office in Florida in 2022 following an internal investigation that found he had sexually harassed a woman he arrested. But I think it's too much to assume you have a case of mistaken identity, and are more likely just seething mindlessly.
>>217218454seems like it yeah lol
Speaking of DISCO, next year is her 10th Anniversary of launching the Golden Age of Trek television. Hope the Post Office puts out a commemorative stamp.
>>217218465Why are you so upset though? You're lashing out at people for making simple inquiries. We don't know if he is a rapist or not. He could be. Could be innocent.
>>217218392>Golden Axe is still in developmentYou're misinformed
This is not the face of a rapist.Or is it?We can't say for certain.
Damar was always talking the MOST shit about Weyoun when he was out of the room and look at him now. Cardies are so fucking cucked when it comes down to it

You may be confusing him with Michael McMahan, a former police officer who was terminated from the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office in Florida in 2022Oh my God the thumb thinks we actually think he's a rapist and dug around the Internet thinking someone got s false positive until he found someone. Surely they must be mistaken in their earnest concern, the pollical man thought to himself. Surely I will show them the right path, he thought.

Do you believe the 10s of thousands of viewers figure for SNW? And can the new show beat that?
>>217220660yes I think the snw show only got 21k views as leaked by that insider (claiming it's false because rlm joked about it is cope). the new show will be reported by paramount as getting millions of views (it wont) and it'll probably end up equal or lesser than snw just from people who are morbidly curious abt it
>>217220729>I insist that only 21k people watched SNW>That Paramount saw this in their streaming data>And proceeded to spend $500 million to make five years of the series because -- they just okay!
>>217221172it's not important how many people watch it because streaming services don't have to reveal that information so there's way to tell if a show flopped or not. and it no longer matters anyway. what matters is having as much IP slop as possible on your platform to keep investors happy
back in the old days money was made by selling ads during the show so it was necessary for the show to be something people were actually watching. but now the money is from what? sub fees? you can make money by raising the price or tricking people into not cancelling or billing the even though they forgot they cancelled etc etc. people actually viewing the content does not equal money anymore. people might see that you have "Star Trek" on your streaming service and sub but by then you already got their money so it doesn't matter if they watch one episode of Starfleet Academy and it's the worst thing they've ever seen and don't watch it again
