curiosity got the better of me and I decided to watch SA. i watched it with a friend who doesn't know much of nothin about Star Trek I assume except what I told him. both of us kinda had the same reaction that it was 1. not Star Trek at all2. not the worst thing ever and not unwatchable by any means3. a 3rd rate CW teen drama made for childrenmany characters were annoying and stupid like Holly Hunter and Paul Giamatti but others were pretty ok like Caleb and JAY DEN KRAAG and the fat Jem'Hadar lady was ok. the overall tone was just overwhelmingly that it was show for teenagers.

Despite the gameplay jank and crazy eyebrows, I really enjoyed thisApart from two "warp into danger like an idiot" scenes, it really felt like TNG/DS9 era Trek.
