I just watched the episode and thought it was fine, but I have no real excitement for it going forward. I cannot tell if that is because the episode just whatever or if I am just sort of apathetic in response to GOT and HOTD. There's still a lot of time to fuck things up, even though the first steps are good. HOTD and GOT trained you to look out of a gradual decline in quality as a show proceeds, so you won't feel sure about Dunk until it's done or near-done.
I have a very good feeling about the show so far based on just the first episode, it feels right. But I've thought the same in GOTS1-3 and look how that turned out.

Something along those lines, but we never really get many or almost any scenes with Lyonel Baratheon, so everyone has their own idea of what kind of a person he is and sure a Titus Pullo type is many including my thoughts about who he was, but I'm really happy seeing this.
