I'm not sure if he will get a redemption arc but the seeds have been planted if they care to do so. IMO the big impediment to that is Varang. They have good chemistry but I don't see how the relationship can be 'healthy' in the long run in terms of becoming better people. I can see them genuinely being happy with each other over the course of many years so long as they are both committed to being awful to others. "I can fix her" fails to "I can make her worse". I think Varang getting further character development and getting her own redemption arc is a prerequisite for Quaritch getting redeemed provided they stay together.Quaritch and Varang together were so much fun to watch and I find their relationship fascinating which is another reason I'm ambivalent about a time skip. I want to see how Jake and Neytiri react to Spider and Kiri's relationship turning romantic when they just barely agreed to accept him as a son, let alone as a son-in-law, and I'd likewise want to see more of Quaritch and Varang learning more about each other instead of having it glossed over in a timeskip.
