I said this in a previous thread but since this is Voyager themed it's relevant.The producers waited too long to have Kes mature. It was only a few episodes before her departure when she grows her hair out and starts wearing form-fitting clothing. Prior to that, for most of season 3, she still had that pixie cut and those little girl smocks. I think this really hindered her character development. Well, not that it mattered anyway because Jennifer Lien was already falling off the wagon, which meant they had to get rid of her.But it makes you wonder what could have been.

The first episode (well, second) of DS9 is on TV and God damn does it look rough. 2 bouts of compression on top that soft focus filter they shot the whole show through turns the picture to fucking mud.
