One thing that really took me by surprise upon rewatch is how there are barely any Sisko episodes in S1; pretty much just the pilot and season finale. Even looking at the later seasons where he is much more definitively the central protagonist, I am reasonably confident that out of the 5 Tru-Trek captains, he has the lowest percentage of screentime for their respective shows.
