Peter Parker is supposed to be this everyman type of character, but it seems like comic books are usually behind the current times and trends and stuck somewhat in the past. Peter Parker in the comics is still supposed to be this regular joe type person, but it hasn't been that way since like how long? the best they did was the 2000s Ultimate Spider-man, where they did manage to make the character more hip and everything. Hollands Peter Parker just sort of seems like an uptight dweeb to me, who I don't care for that much. Well I mean, he's kind of a contradiction, he gets into all these misadventures but they make him seem like such a dweeb that is scared to ever offend anyone.
