Between the 23rd and 24th century the common Redshirt (mortuus dramaticus) experienced extreme evolutionary pressure, and developed a yellow coloring for the sake of self preservation. Coincidentally a random mutation in the population of Captains (commandicus cueballii) caused the coloration to switch to red, presumably because it looked bad in gold.

>Weyoun 4 is a backstabbing jackass
he actually isn't. Ometiklan kills him for "questioning our loyalty" and he never does that. that part of the episode makes literally no sense like, it does not follow from what actually happened earlier. Weyoun was surprised they knew about the portal and then Ometiklan jumped to conclusions that he didn't tell them about it because he "questioned their loyalty" as if it couldn't be the case the Founders just told their administrator in charge of the disposable meat soldiers not to reveal that sensitive information to them that wasn't critical to their mission. he literally just pulled that excuse out of his ass and blamed Weyoun for it. there's nothing to suggest he did anything other than follow orders from the Founders just like they were doing.
>>
I love when Weyoun 7 is like "I never could foresee Damar turning on us, Cardassians love authority!" and the Founder just glares at him and says (out loud) that she should kill him if not for the fact she can't make another clone

oh also Ometiklan seems to imply that it's the Vortas who came up with the whole ketracel white thing to ensure loyalty and that they'd be loyal to the Founders without it which also makes no sense but I guess we can chalk it up to it being one of the early episodes about Jem'Hadar and Vorta so the writing is kinda inconsistent with what happens later
>>
>>220180448
When you just take the numbers of today and project them into the future it never looks good. Not unlike how they thought the future would still be using analog equipment or walkie talkies. Then advancements in food and energy production come along and supporting another billion people doesn't seem so absurd anymore.

yeah then later Weyoun 7 is like

and in To the Death Weyoun 4 tells Odo to come home and that the Founders all love him and that he's so much better than taking orders from Federation trash instead of regarding him as "traitor"

so it's all opposite and shit

Because he would have kept going. No there are 3. No there are 6. Etc

It’s what torturers do. Tell the person they are torturing it’s almost over just do X and they keep adding on until a fuck up and repeat. There is no end, “you were so close to finishing” repeat torture again and again. Eventually the person being tortured blames them self and that’s where he wanted Picard.

That’s how sadist and evil people work, “you only needed to do this you were almost done” and repeat.

Step after step after step until you break down no ego or spirit you think you are retarded and that’s why you are being rebuilt.
That’s torture. It never ends and you will never be able to follow the rules of the task to keep you from getting tortured.

It’s basic torture shit they’ve done since 2000 bc and is still around. It never ends.

No, Ezri Dax is a worse character than Jadzia Dax because she is ultimately irrelevant, feels tacked-on at the last minute, and they waste like 5 valuable episode spots of the final season on trying to make her seem like more than an afterthought (unsuccessfully).

Ezri is just a waste of time. The entire romance story throughout S7 was garbage. Trying to suddenly have a counselor was garbage. She added nothing to the show aside from being cute. Should've just killed Dax and let it stick.
>>
>>220183862
Even though I find Terry more attractive, I agree. The main problem with Ezri is that it was too much in an already crammed season. I have always maintained that Jadzia should've died in Rocks and Shoals. (Ignoring the behind the scenes reasons for her departure; I just assumed they always planned to kill off Jadzia because it's a fairly intuitive way of exploring the Trills' gimmick.)

TOS and TNG were never meant to be watched in HD. You need to be looking to see stunt actors. Most TOS exteriors were made from cardboard and they took up half the episode. Maybe DS9 and VOY being stuck in SD isn't so bad.

>There is no human word for it. It is a moment of clarity between two warriors on the field of battle. Much is said without the need for words. In that moment, he knew what was in my mind. Once I realised that he saw my intention to give up, I could no longer go through with it. I went back into the ring and fought once more. He had given me his warrior's heart. Perhaps it is something a human cannot understand.

a warrior’s moment of clarity, enlightenment, or sudden realization of truth—transcending life and death—is Satori (悟り). In a duel, this represents a peak mental state where warriors act without hesitation or fear, achieving a profound, intuitive understanding of the fight
