As fans I really think we need to spread the word and/or go to see it again and buy tickets. I hope that they decide to move forward with the third movie anyways and conclude the trilogy. Hopefully streaming and merchandising helps too.

I personally loved the film. It was a huge improvement. It brought us a great protagonist with Kitana and the awesome Johnny Cage portrayal by Karl urban. Here is the problem with MK movies. The 1st one in the 90s worked because it was a cheap and cheesy homage to old kung fu movies, just like the game.
This new movie might be more accurate to the game's visuals, but all the excessive "flair" it has, is unnecessary and not in the cheesy kung fu spirit.

The more I think about it, the more I come to the conclusion that everything was well handled.
