I was thinking about the whole Azor Ahai/Nissa Nissa discourse and the most likely outcomes. In my copy of AGoT, in the appendix Rhaenyra is listed as the full-blooded sibling of Aegon II's, only one year his elder, who decided she was entitled to the throne. When Stannis speaks of the event in Storm, he seems pretty convinced that Rhaenyra was a usurper with absolutely zero claim, but given his house and personality I can understand he's not an objective, unbiased source. I think it's Feast in one of the Dorne chapters where they start talking about Viserys naming her as heir so they can justify their plot to crown Myrcella.
