The context clues are literally given to you in the episode and even in the current cycle. Look at every single cycle for Jade, at no point does it look like he was with someone. I think when they say it's worse for Tabitha, they mean that she probably either has to kill her own family or watch her family be killed. Which is much worse than the town just brutally murdering Jade. And even in the current cycle Tabitha has a family: Jim, Julie, and Ethan. Jade has no one. It's even brought up in the beginning of this season when Tabitha says all that shit to Jade in the barn about how it should be him instead of Jim.
