They seemed to do a complete rework of his character in season 2 where he went from being written as this one note incel caricature despising a woman who turned him down into being a representation of the common soldier helpless before dragons and with no hope of bettering themselves aside from being in service to lords who don't care for them. He's got like a Metal Gear storyline going on almost "knights are not just tools of the lords, Snake." But that went on too long and got boring and repetitive honestly, but still one of the better storylines of this shit season.
