Don’t understand why they spent so much budget on a dragon fight which had seemingly no impact on the plot and isn’t even in the books. I was half expecting them to kill off Syrax or do some other major deviation, at least that would be a bold move (and probably make more sense than her book equivalent anyway) but instead it seems like they’ve spent all this budget on the nettles substitute storyline just for it to go… nowhere? Kind of like how in the last season they spent most of Daemon’s storyline on the feud between the Brackens and Blackwoods only for neither of those houses to even be mentioned in the third season. Really annoying that they keep spending so much time on plotlines that seemingly exist for no reason other than to give character something to do meanwhile they’ve offscreened the Red Fork, Fishfeed, Honeywine, the Red Kraken, no Maelor or Bitterbridge… it’s such a shame what they’ve done with the show
