Just saw Boogeyman the other day and it was very disappointing, the monster is so inconsistent, it can faze in and out of existence until the plot needs it to not, it supposedly needs to ramp up the fear but can immediately kill, it's super powerful enough to tear someone in half and moves fast as hell but loses in a battle with a teen girl and her little sister, it's supernatural but can be easily killed, it's afraid of the light/fire but ignores it sometimes.I just want a good solid monster movies without bullshit metaphors like the real monster is our emotional trauma or some other bullshit, the ones that get all the praise from faggot and cunt critics.
