The ones with Patrick McGoohan are classics

For me, it's the aristocratic, high-fashion beauty of the tremendously talented Delphine Seyrig.

Of course, her filmography is already a prolonged gallery of kino, but it's a shame she died relatively young. I'm sure she would've absolutely excelled at playing stern old woman roles.

When France came out /film/ was quite fun for a while. I still think about that ridiculous movie, I think it's quite good. But then L'Empire was kinda unremarkable despite the ridiculous concept and Dumont's existence got completely memoryholed on /film/.
He has a new movie this year, already was shown at Cannes, even has a trailer. Looks fucking weird. The reviews from Cannes were pretty good actually.

Anyone else see Kiyoshi Kurosawa's separation of The Samurai and the Prisoner yet? Watched it at a local indie theater earlier this afternoon and there weren't many people in the audience. Still kino though. The dialogue, score, and cinematography are all great

I get no respect. Everywhere I go there's always something. I was in Paris for a vacation last summer. I was leaving a club to go back to my hotel and I got told to take the underpass. I take an underpass and oohh I tell ya. These Parisian dames are something else. Let's just say she gave me no respect at all.

Basically what Zappa said about the music industry. The 60s didn't have focus groups or research teams working to maximize the commercial potential of each product. Some experimental artists fell through the cracks and had some mainstream success.

Not quite my favourite but I always thought the very last one with Matthew Rhys was a surprisingly good send off, pretty thrilling

Otherwise it's the wine one with Donald Pleasance or Shatner as the TV detective

Of course you would, it sounds sick. It sounds fucking great. Wanna know why? I came up with it.

I could make CRA a star, the film would-be like a stylistic mix of La Notte and Manns Miami Vice, three hours of a retard prowling the streets of San Jose at night, getting into it with the locals
