If it helps, it's a dual-protagonist film and he can be said to be the minor one. Also by the end he's the bad guy.
>>
>>223037213
He really makes the movie with his performance. He's got the Devil's charm and that look about him. Even though it makes no canonical sense for him to also be the Djinn in part 2, the movie just wouldn't be the same without him. Him being replaced in part 3 isn't the only problem with the movie, but it's a significant one.
The guy in part 4 is underrated though

Just finished. Jesus fuck, this is some of the dumbest shit ever. Shot like it's The Crow, wants to be part The Ring and part Silence of the Lambs... but I imagine this is what it would have been like if Hollywood had attempted to do a Suicide Club adaptation, lol. Stephen Dorff and the Truman Show chick have zero chemistry and it makes the entire movie awkward. Stephen Rea's little philosophical rants are hilariously lame. The climax looks like outtakes from Mirrormask. Just a massive embarrassment all around.

I had my suspicions but it was the costume part that was throwing me. You wouldn't think of a ghost needing them. TV Tropes surprisingly had a listing for the 1974 version with David Niven and makes a point of it though, which certainly sounds more like the thing I was looking for.

Better than Caveat, but Oddity was better.
But I do like all three films. It's nice that it's horror that is not constant jump-scares, a metaphor for trauma, a ton of people dying, etc. They feel like more classic ghost stories, where the supernatural is a part of it but not the main focus.

I found some that appeared to be from the Who's the Boss days and was like wtf and quickly closed the website. It was definitely her. I have no proof of this, but swear it. Not something I've ever wanted to ask if anyone else knows anything about, for obvious reasons. So I've kept it to myself all this time.

That was a weird Z-grade movie. Its fun for what it is and I did like the start even though the acting was rough, plus it was hot when that one living woman came out from the TV nude, but it was weird how the zombies are more like ghouls that hate their own reflection.
