That interesting feeling has dwindled down considerably lately, it is just too crowded of 'main' characters in it that don't have enough screen time for you to care about them, I always feel that the game itself it's too limited for what they want to achieve as well. The news about Mihoyo making a new game as well, makes me lose a lot of hope that Honkai will make a great ending for this plot line (they did so in the Elysian realm while the Genshin fever was around though). Some of the characters are great, Songque and Thelema are very good characters for instance. As of right now, I'll just wait and see how this one ends, and then re-evaluate what to do.

I've heard very bad things about both being in the game, and the one you DON'T pick becomes an actual character that's always around, talks and such?I don't know how true the whole thing is though, or still is. I only plan to try out the game so far, but the MC choice is never something you can later on correct.

The only thing mattering is if it has an elemental barrier or not.Due to the ZZZ mechanic changes, you basically need to care about what the enemy does. There's no "I don't care" thick shields and healing galore, and swap counters are huge amount of daze which is important to deal burst damage on breaks. But is that better in the long run? Hard to say. Game is new. But can't say they haven't tried.
