Frieren herself is a stereotypical aloof japanese interpretation of an Elf, she's not written as wise as she actually would be as a multi-thousand year being, and Serie winds up being written more like the typical hubristic elf type.Basically the show only gets more mildly engaging when it reaches near the magic exam tournament and Frieren begins to actually have more variety in her personality.

Yes. I have never been able to finish ME3. I hate the fact that Shepard cannot holster his gun anymore, so when you are talking to allies you have your guns trained on them for no apparent reason during missions. It just takes me out of the "RPG" factor. Series transformed from an RPG to a dumb action game.
