It really doesn't work for a proper MMORPG where trade and commerce is a core part of the players' collaborative efforts. >>736271283I disagree, there are other ways to collaborate than having it all revolve around an economy. Shared quest progression for example. If the goal is to say, build a town along with your guild/faction, you can perform activities that contribute towards that goal automatically. You don't need an economy to fight over territory or the best grinding spots, a player run economy doesn't bring much to the game that you can't replicate with other systems and NPC trading.

Here's the situation with the mods.1. Anon asked to have the tuxedo and vampire skins of Blueberry, available in the same style of play as in the old Blueberry mod. And possibly, to fix the issues with the Blueberry mod, like objects resetting on scene changes. Long story short, it can't be done 100%, but I did do all that's available. We now have a remade version of Blueberry's mod with objects that don't reset on scene changes, and Tuxedo\Vampire mods with Blueberry's sword and gadgets. Any more than that can't be done, presently.2. But dealing with Blueberry was a learning experience, and it got me the tech to give their own particular melee weapon to all the player model swaps I had made. And there's more of these model swaps, to make.3. It also lead to creating a Melee Swap mod, which summons a weapon selection menu. It was really surprising to see how many of these unused alternatives to the umbrella are in the game.4. Finally, I made various merges of the shop menu, melee mod and portable inventory mod. They couldn't even give Yakumo a last name. Ninja tradition states that his name has to be Yakumo Raven. I can't believe how even at the end of the DLC Yakumo has nothing to say to any of the other characters and his time with Ryu is bumped up from a humble 5 seconds to a respectable 15 seconds. >>736263735I would assume that the Katana engine would have an easier time running more linear levels in NG than the Nioh 3 levels. RE Engine works better for RE because of the smaller scale and they actually did improve the performance in MH Wilds a lot. Ryu doesn't even have anything to say to Kaguchi after that and the boss fight just has Ryu allowing him the use of the Dark Jewel because it just has to happen for the game's story to make any sense. The DLC was named "The Two Masters" and shows them standing back-to-back as if they're about to fight a million enemies but until the final cutscene their levels are completely separate and they only meet because the demon pulls them into the third level. Also why would Yakumo even care that Ryu tried killing him? Yakumo is supposed to be a mission focused ninja and he should understand that people, including Ryu, might get in his way. A real question to ask is how the hell does Yakumo not know who Ryu Hayabusa is and has to have Tyran explain who he is to him.

The blade of legend gets enhanced near the end by it's magatama lending strength to it's rightful wielder by blood. Yakumo's fight with Ryu is him proving that he's capable of that role. It's not exactly Citizen Kane, but there's a reason behind every scene.
