I finished playing Cultic and my only takeaway is this game is really one of those "Unity Shooters"(I'm not forcing a meme, I just hate the term "boomer shooter" - it's fucking gay and pretentious). Anyway, it's one of those "Unity Shooters" that while I appreciate the effort with regards to the level design and some of the sound effects design, I just couldn't get into this game after a while (although I set out to finish it regardless of how I felt) because this game has such a color palette of "dried blood" brown, that it got annoying at times when the game put you in dark environments. Other than that, this game was okay. Would I recommend this? Yes but with the precaution of "it's not a 'Blood' homage as much as it is a RE4 fanboy that made a new game, but if they had the license, this would've been an RE4 tribute FPS game done in Unity."

Do not get cocky with the difficulty scheme and try to have at least one weapon maxed out and really - and I mean this because this is important - look for weapon parts upgrades in the hidden spots of a map. In chapter 2 it will come in handy. Also keep in mind that there are some jump scares that you'll see coming for a mile (if you're used to scary video games you'll see this very far away). So Chapter 2 is more on being the "FPS survival horror" game that Cultic proports to setting off to being than in Chapter 1 where it was just coming off as your typical "spooky Unity engine game."
