KOTOR turns also play in real time but the characters act in turns, you and the enemy don't act at the same timeDoesn't really matter though, it's not really noticable unless you pay attention to the technical stuff. While playing it, it still feels more like BG2 than a full turn based game like BG3

Outside of Persona, the Swordcraft series is probably the only JRPG I know of where the spinoff is more popular than the main series. I recently went back to them and they’re still as fun as I remember. I’ve tried other SN games that got localized, but they just aren’t fun, they’re generic strategy RPGs. There’s something about the Swordcraft games that makes them more engaging, and it’s not just because of the action gameplay.Sometimes I feel like I’m the only person in the world who cares about this series.
