There's actually a way to still play the event and get the rewards through a very simple exploit. Follow these steps:1. Quit any games that are running.2. Enable airplane mode (this requires your Switch 2 being undocked)3. Start up Kirby Air Riders4. You should see the event announcement, press + to start the event5. At the screen where you can choose your rider/machine combo, disable airplane mode. You may also dock your Switch 2 if you want.6. You should now be queued up for the supposedly cancelled event!The only caveat is that someone else must also be doing the same thing or you will not get into a game, so it could take a bit of waiting. Merry Christmas!
