Making a new WoW character. I need help coming up with a name. Going mage
>>730636960>I need help coming up with a nameLynexia. It's what I called my wolf-folk gf in a /tg/ game I played.
>>730636960Is there any game you trannies don't use to pretend you're women?
>>730640680Actually the incel green guy would stalk girl characters, not play as them.

I want a game where I can dress up a cute doll because real dolls are too expensive.
>>730639250>How do you guys even get into this doll hobbythere's a thread for it on /jp/>and how expensive is it?probably quite expensive. 3d printing, sewing your own doll clothes, and other DIY stuff probably go a long way towards making it cheaper but then you'll probably be missing out on the highest quality stuff
>>730639250When I was around Tokyo, I'd passed by a couple stores. Bases/bodies in Volks/Dollfie were like 250-300 bucks minimum. But they really were cute...
>>730639250I find it difficult in the US, but it depends on how much you're willing to spend. If you start with a 22cm BJD and one or two outfits, you're looking at maybe 100 USD.

>TOASTERZ!!! xDDDWhat is your excuse for this pile of dogshit NViggers? This is by far WORSE than the fucking Fallout TV show.
Its not even bad. It was a fun DLC.
>>730638727>"lol so random" humor was still pretty popular at that time. That doesn't mean it's good. The humor of the fallout TV show is popular with normies right now as we speak.
>>730622405Only decent NV DLC. Forbidden Planet is kino.
OWB is fun for the exploration and unique items you can get there. Arguably way better than Lonesome Road
OWB is probably my favorite NV DLC, I like how there's this surface layer of "stupidity" and silliness but if you actually brush beneath it's a pretty sinister and cruel place, the brief moments of lucidity you get with the think tank members, especially handing over Gabe's bowl, and talking with Dr. Mobious are some of the best moments in all of Fallout for me, although some of the Sink robots do irritate me.
Oersted did nothing wrong
The way they localized the mecha chapter is my personal 9/11.
He was in a bad game.
>>730641174That's like a "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" but what if a man?
>>730642750Elaborate, was it the panties? If so yeah, they could have come up with something better rather than the wallet.
>>730632654It always rubs me the wrong way that you see Streibough's ghost admitting that he fucked up and ruined Oersted, meanwhile the Princess shows zero remorse and just tells you to go murder his ass

I know it's a bit late to ask this, but this question just popped into my mind. What kind of New Year's resolutions has /v/ anons made for 2026?Mine is to actually get to my Steam Backlog of games and play and finish the games that i have bought but not played yet.

I want to play a fuckton of games that I feel like I should've played by now at my current age, as well as honing any of the following skills:>Programming / understanding computer science better for gamedev>Content Creation / Livestreaming / YouTube>Drawing (something i've always loved but just simply sucked so i dropped it for years)Last year was really rough for me, and with the way the first week and a half of the year has gone by, it feels less like the objective is making it out of 2026 alive, but instead proving that I'm worth something. I was able to make myself healthier on my weight loss journey, so I know I can do it by the end of this year.

I like this. If Steam supports ARM, then I could play PC games from Steam on my phone too.
>>730641513I'm willing to bet it is. They didn't put ARM in the new Steam Machine because FEX is still experimental. People buying the machine expect stability, but the people buying the frame are willing to experiment.
>>730642185The industry is bogged down by licesces. Only AMD and Intel are allowed to produce x86 chips. Moving to ARM would allow for a ton of competition
you can already run steam games on your phone with the gamesaaaaaar gamehub app.but you actually have to download the real one because they're about 100 fakes. gamesir has the real one on their own site.I played megabonk for a while but haven't installed much else. also used a bluetooth controller.

Did 2.0 and Phantom Liberty change /v/'s opinion on Cyberpunk 2077?
>>730640906I liked it from release, the jank reminded me of early NV and STALKER. CDPR was never going to make the hyper autistic crpg that feels like an actual game of the tabletop so I knew what it was going in.Solid 8/10 game the whole time
>>730641519I have 100h in this game and I have no idea wtf you're talking about
>>730640906they polished it a lit but its still fundamentally not an rpg and over time ive come to accept it and just enjoy it for what it is but i think cdpr are scum for how much they overpromised and at its like a 7/10 even at its best
>>730642772I assume he means the Phantom Liberty intro missions which are cringe
>>730642819enjoy it for what it is but i think cdpr are scum for how much they overpromised and at its like a 7/10 even at its bestid say 8 because of the production quality and decent writing at times but yeah that pretty much sums up CP2077
Literal generations of video games have been lost to shitty Unreal and Unity lighting The best looking games are still the ones that had to invent their own lighting solutions and rely on artistry rather than engine light
>>730641993>The devs are still controlling where the lights are and what the properties of the lights are.And the player controls where the camera is in relation to the light source. Bounce lighting on dynamic light sources means the player is not seeing the lit textures/materials in a single, controlled lighting environment. Dynamically lit scenes are visually inconsistent as a result, that's the price you pay for letting the renderer do the lighting simulation. You can set up the lights all you want but unless you control where the camera is at all times, you effectively have no control over how the player actually sees the scene. What games do right now with lighting is like animating a perfect frame of traditional animation and then taking a picture of it in random outdoor light conditions instead of just lighting it correctly. Simulated, realtime lighting looks super cool in practice but it makes the viewing experience of the actual content worse most of the time.
>>730641724Baked lighting is still a thing you know
>>730642257>And the player controls where the camera is in relation to the light source.Like literally every game with a non-fixed 3D cam>Bounce lighting on dynamic light sourcesso your issue is just with light sources that move?>Dynamically lit scenes are visually inconsistent as a resultI mean if you have the lights moving all over the place sure.>What games do right now with lighting is like animating a perfect frame of traditional animation and then taking a picture of it in random outdoor light conditions instead of just lighting it correctlyNot really. Games still have lighting artists manually placing and fine tuning the positions of every light in the scene to make sure it looks as good as possible, even lights you likely don't even notice are there. You act as if most devs are just putting in a single directional light, turning on lumen, and that's it, but that's not really the case except maybe in steam shovelware.
>>730642818>Games still have lighting artists manually placing and fine tuning the positions of every light in the scene to make sure it looks as good as possible>We paid a guy to professionally replicate every visibility and lighting issue and distraction that happens with real-world lightingAmazing. It's like we went back in time to when movies added screen flare effects so they could actively look WORSE.I can't stand looking at the visual noise and garbage that comes from having lighting effects like HDR or ambient occlusion. Games unironically looked better when you just set that shit on fullbright and painted the parts of the scene you want to look darker with a darker color.
>>730637442>the visual bloat
Is this game good if I'm not a Klonoa autist? I just want to know if it's a fun action RPG. It seems like the criticism against it just comes from weird canonfags.

>>730642302do NOT have annoying ass enemies or terrain that slow down the player all game; give them upgrades that allow them to traverse with zero issuehave variety, not everything should be fucking flat like a team ladybug game. as long as you aren't falling down all the time and losing 30 seconds of climbing it's goodhave a good variety of environments and colors in those environments, with fitting music, even if it's ambient
