I was kinda shocked at how well thief 1 and 2 hold up.I mean in the sense that it's surprisingly intuitive for a game in the wild west/formative era before the mass standardization of controls and design choices hit the industry.Normally these kind of pillars of the industry type of things have some adjustment period since their designs don't really match up with modern expectations, something like Ultima Underworld or DUNE 2 would have an acclimation peroid but not really with Thief.
