Contested kills made most actual attempts at killing someone a loss on your end because they could just contest it, rooftop runners were permanent because they nerfed gun cooldowns, they designed maps around triggering high profile very easily or having enormous sight lines that hiding was almost impossible (The frozen ship in AC3 is an example), and people only played it like a stealth game in Manhunt. Even in that game mode the attackers almost always just ran at you in high profile to make any sort of high point kills impossible, to stagger you, and to scatter the NPCs.It should stay dead, they ruined it with Revelation and then spent another two games making it even worse nerfing every possible way to stealth kill stuff while pandering to rooftop runners.
