To the people whose picks could be called "obscured", talk about them a bit. Who are they and/or why do you like them or want them to enter?For me, it's Shingyoku (or SinGyoku), from Touhou. It is the first boss in the entire series, back in Highly Responsive to Prayers on the PC-98. Being the first game, the characters from it have very little to them, as there is barely a story and no dialogue, so little is known about the characters that ZUN hasn't brought back. Shingyoku is one(?) of these, being purely in that game and no other (official) appearance. Still, from what you see in the game, Shingyoku is comprised of three things: A Ying-Yang, a priestess and a priest; the first being the "main" form and changing to the other two for its attacks during the fight. The fight in question being:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFJ21QXhd8gThe little information we can gleam from this is that one, they may be related to the Hakurei Shrine (Reimu's shrine) and two, are the gatekeepers to Makai and Hell (the two route in HRtP). There is nothing more that is known until ZUN says anything about it, something that seems quite unlikely to happen. There are still some fanon stuff, my favourite headcanon is that they are Reimu's parents, it just seems funny.Now, as for why I like Shingyoku, I'm just really interested in the characters forgotten by ZUN, lost to the PC-98. Not knowing much about them and most likely never getting anything new makes them fascinating. Who are the characters? What are the characters? Why are the characters? A simple, vanilla classic character in a classic (large) world is the perfect start to Terraria.
