Avoid the Legendary/Mythic/Dark because it's a completely random card instead of a wild card you can use where you want, meaning that it has a very good chance of being something completely worthless to you.However, if you've got several cards maxed out already you can buy Common Wild Cards at a decent exchange rate from the hourglass token shop (with Rare and Epic wild cards having much worse rates), so in that case they would be relatively easier to obtain. Additionally, it is worth considering that the Epic cards Priori Incantato and Abigail Grey are in very high demand and difficult to trade for. If you are attempting to focus level either of these specific cards, the Epic WCs might be worth considering.

When it comes to the actual story, the year stories, there is quite clearly a focus on each side character per year, year 1 was Ivy, year 2 was Lottie, year 3 was Daniel where they get a story arc. In my opinion, having the side characters constantly "grow" season to season would be a detriment to the primary focus of the seasons, which is showcasing new and interesting elements of the wizarding world. Well, when they are good anyway, sometimes they are shit and that's its own problem, but I don't think that we need to constantly have the characters growing. this is after all, a video game that isn't narratively focused. Certainly, over time, and by that, I mean a long time, I am sure we'll see shifts in characterizations, but ultimately this is not a serial.
