I also essenced off his last weakness.The fight itself was just MC and Dagda essentially. I attacked the body and Dagda beat on the head weak to phys for the entire fight. The heads do eventually die but only when her health is so low she can't afford to heal it. Stayed buffed and she stayed debuffed as needed, and just rinsed and repeated on the one head, and body. For Magatsuhi, I used omnipotent whatever and smacked the body four times. Unless they use impalers, they'll rarely get a full turn off of you, and the first press turn always goes to healing. It was so easy, I legit felt bad about it. Also for their magatsuhi skill just use a phys dampener. For whatever reason, it doesn't have pierce.

Taito is the only even slightly open area, the rest of the game is completely, 100% linear. You cannot got to areas out of order. You go to each area in a set order and are stopped from progressing further in those areas until you complete story sections. I really don't understand why people get the "duuuuhhh duhhh open world????" brainrot with this. Is it really just the admittedly ultra lame miman they pad the world with making people think of korok so much their brains shut off and they can't even parse completely different world design? I feel like xenoblade games which basically just have the exact same type of world design but are far more visually and aesthetically varied and interesting sorry Vbros its true don't get this same "dude its open world" brainrot.

In V each area is sectioned off into about 4 different locations within the area but each of those locations is its own ecosystem. Clear the first two maps and you'll see what I'm talking about. The real issue with V is the lack of traditional dungeons which Nocturne handled way better but in exchange Nocturne feels like an emptier world while V is tighter and has more to do within each location.Or you can go back to SMT 1 and 2 and walk in the same exact hallways that are pallet swapped to slightly blue walls into slightly redder walls and you wander around in teleporter tiles for five hours over a 10 floor dungeon that's all identical in appearance while every map is an indoors dungeon. Give me a break. You had the patience to go through 30 floors of teleporter tiles but you can't handle a confined space in 3D.
