Marika was fucking evil, stupid, a despot, and willingly encouraged zealotry amongst her people committing many genocides, most of which were unwarranted, she was finicky, emotional, and feared her cursed kids and how they could affect her reign even if she loved them. Ranni is evil, stupid, her plan just played into what the fingers and marika wanted despite supposedly rebelling against the fingers, she killed the only demigod who no one has anything negative to say about, she caused the shattering, let's adula, her last original follower, die for little reason, and wants to leave humanity in the hands of itself, knowing the chaos it could easily bring. Like many characters they DO have positive traits, and many many negative ones. That's what truly makes them best girls. They're the most well rounded characters in the setting, get the most lore, you can't kill either of them, and it's established you want godpussy. These are your canonical wives and they're fucking evil. And THATS A GOOD THING.
