I'm not a regular but I came by to tell you all what's going on with the IDW comic, they're doing what's in the industry called "reactionary writing" where they make a character or characters say and do stupid shit for trhe sole purpose getting attention and "hate readers" as they call it, it's what Marvel did last year with Spider Man and well I won't go into detail but it made a lot of people pissed off, you see no matter what country, once you're out of ideas or never really had any to begin with you cover your ass by falling back on reactionary writing, sometimes it's massivelly successful and gets your show/comic a lot of press and attention, like say Code Geass, the original, they had very little in terms of long term plans for the series so they just threw things at the wall and see what stuck, other times it becomes so disjointed and chaotic that it falls apart into incomprehensable actions and resolutions where people just wanna forget the entire time ever happened to begin with, in extreme cases the writers may have so much shame they flat out completely recon the entire story in a couple of pages and never speak of it again, I think a major sonic example would be everything that went on pre reboot complete with Sonic and Tails about to have a super dramatic and brutal fight against one another over romance, political drama and geninue hatred for one another along with a civil war brewing between two factions where their leaders had just drawn their weapons and delcared they won't stop until their opposition is dead. instead the fight devolves into "sorry I fucked that slut you liked,bro" and "We worked out our differences and are stronger together"! IDW is heading in that direction and by the time it's finished you guys are going to be very angry perhaps angeier than you've ever been in a long time.This is just a forewarning as someone who also relied on reactionary writing for a Transformers x Ninja turtles fan fiction I wrote back in 08

I think the one line Amy shouldn't cross is using her hammer on Sonic or others. Even as a joke, her pulling that thing out and attacking people (other than Eggman) would make her look unhinged, because it's a powerful weapon, even if it's named after a squeaky toy.
