Just finished my first run, went in blind and it was pretty fun, the envy peccatula fights are great even with their silly ego spam. The hardest fight for me was Jun though, rules of the backstreets hits extremely hard when your sinners are close to getting staggered from the last fight against Ncorp. King in bind was a dissapointing fight desu, the gimmick is literally clashing with him.

Rodyafag reporting in with sinking team. Team was Yi Sang, Outis, Greg, Hong Lu, Rodya, Faust/Ishmael, in that order.Some notes regarding the characters:1. Ishmael was way worse than I thought she would be; especially notable is a lack of an appropriate EGO. Ardor Blossom is a nice clasher, but she's too slow to intercept 8 speed enemies pressing EGO, and while Wingbeat is great damage, green is contested for by Sunshower. Similarly, Blind Obsession competes with Rime Shank for Envy.2. Faust is better than I expected, but mostly because turn 1 fluid sac helped vs humans and her S3 is good for the bosses. But she mostly stared at the wall other than that.3. Hong Lu is comically broken, but harder than the other chars to play. You can squeeze much more damage by tactical use of his passive. The "ditch s3 and sit on dodge button" is overrated, though still used about half the time.4. Outis was a fucking BEAST, Binds and Pathos Mathos both excel in these long fights. I got so many resources off Binds and Outis hits hard.5. Yi Sang with the new ryoshu vs without is just not the same character. So much of his power is in the S2, and being able to use it literal turns earlier is a big deal. However, I find it annoying that sunshower -> S2 is surprisingly annoying to use, since it requires a very specific deck RNG.6. Rodya's Aggro -> self cleanse was really good all throughout and let me ignore a lot of stuff, esp in station 1.7. Gregor...I almost forgot. His S2 and envy gen for Rime Shank is basically his entire kit. Necessary evil.Overall the team felt great throughout, and I think if I did this again with what I learned and rerolled for better clashes, I could hit at least 55; I feel I did not optimally distribute damage in the human battle phases and could gain another turn on each abno with a tighter rotation. I'm sure someone better than me could figure out a way to hit 50 with sinking.

It's an absurd finisher when you swing for like 300. However, the S1 spam was relevant particularly when an enemy was afflicted with Echoes. When Hong Lu uses S1 and procs Echoes 2 or 3 times it feels like GG, I don't need to worry about count for the rest of the fight.My highest damage sinner was Yi Sang with about twice the damage of the next sinner, Hong Lu, for transparency. Perhaps it could be better optimized with S1 spam, but Red isn't that useful for the team and Hong Lu's best play is very situational on a case-by-case basis.

That retarded kike Gregor just killed the run by corroding into his dogshit bramble EGO. That's it, I'm unequipping that garbage.
He is so fucking lucky he resists envy. The envymaxxing team was super fun and we did it without suffering a single death. Being able to spread out damage between 4 IDs made a lot of stuff easy. The most annoying part was anything that resisted envy. Meur and Donqui's electric sheep EGOs did a lot for the run alongside hex nail since they are so easy to fuel and spam. I couldn't really use fluid sac or other sp healing EGOs that often so we relied a lot on our passives for maintaining SP but the middle duo never had to worry since they passively kept gaining 6 sp every turn. Bodysack was more useful than ever since I could abuse the passive and the on kill effect so often to make Heath move fast and hit hard. Since pursuance doesn't need that much gloom I was able to use it more often which was great since the big heals were more necessary than a small full group heal. The scariest section was probably the second one since 3/4 of my tanks are fatal to slash and Rodya is just neutral.

He is decent at clashing and has ok damage, but he is nothing special. His bleed is mediocre, his poise gain is honestly shit, he is a bad tank because he gets staggered easily, his passive is hard to activate because of it, the counter requires poise he can't create, and he doesn't synergise that well with either poise or bleed teams in my experience. I assume you have to create a more focused team for him.So what makes him good? People call every id amazing, but this feels above average at best.
