No mount will ever be fun to ride as long as Pals turn on a dime, take no fall damage whatsoever, move completely weightlessly and have inaudible footstep sounds. You get on a mount and immediately give up the really fun movement options the game has like sliding, climbing and gliding, so you can float around on your imaginary friend that barely even feels like its a part of the world

The knights are basically never relevant as mounts.They're pretty good as oil rig distractions though, in my experience.

The cumulative QoL have been a godsend. Aside from the pathing fixes, the new Monitoring Stand is my favorite feature, it makes base pal wrangling and labor optimzing sooo smooth.It is incredible how much more efficient bases are now compared to released month. Multiple bases were required because Pal would just fuck around or get stuck 70% of their waking hours.Now I can have one base supply everything I need with excedents, and it's runs smooth as butter.

I was todays years old when I learned you can use regen potions on your pals.This changes everything. The effect even works when they are not summoned. So you can switch pals faster.
Im sure they will make that every pal has unique move. Its just more fun to battle them this way.Fuddler would be great with dig like move so it can dodge and deal damage.

Finally got around to updating (t. pirate)My boy Ragnahawk no longer fits through dungeon tunnels. Why have they done this? What possible purpose could such a change serve? Where is the mod that fixes it?
>>487708110It's probably because Ragnahawk's size wasn't correct from the start. It got fixed on the same time the AI aggressiveness on mounted Pals got fixed (so that the PIDF can see you tresspass on a sanctuary while mounted)
