And then there are mods, which not only extend longevity, but can allow you to make a whole new game too.Out of it all, i think only Neverwinter Nights can rival TES. And in my honest opinion, NW can benefit a lot from running in 1st person and on Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim's engine. Same with a lot of older aRPGs and cRPGs.You are not losing anything by sticking to TES and modding it. Its just a shame that modding tools for TES games are limited and we have to get by with them and improvisations. Mind you though, base gameplay is great, it jsut needs to be further developed/impoved upon. TES formula > everything else.
