Might as well throw in my view; I still love MGQ and MGQP to this day and think their stories aren't just good by H-Game standards but are unironically genuinely good even by AAA standards.The first one has flaws but is a pleasant and enjoyable experience throughout, and while Paradox Pt.3 is still pending release the game is an amazing expansion on a good foundation.It's also worth noting that there are points where Monsters are genuinely punished; numerous Monsters are left sealed or otherwise confined due to refusing to repent or change their ways and several are straight up killed for being too dangerous or evil (the Beelbs, Cassandra, etc). It's also worth noting that while the majority of enemies in the game try to rape Luka when they meet him, the reason they're acting this way is because humans all hate and fear them and want to drive them to extinction and Ilias deliberately ruined (or helped impede) any large steps made for peace to railroad mankind into her point of view. Without people willing to partner with them they've become desperate and it reinforces the theme throughout the VN about how Ilias is ultimately the underlying cause behind the majority of the problems in the story and that Ilias causes those problems intentionally because she's trying to "justify" her status as a Goddess in order to use the worship of humans to ease her loneliness.Contrast the state of the world with Paradox (where Remina went missing under blameless circumstances) and you can see how most Monsters would generally act; much more friendly and relaxed with plenty of species able to integrate successfully into human society. Problems are still around, of course, but the world is on a much better path than the original one.also Astaroth getting fucking murdered in the Demo has completely restored my suspension of disbelief by making it very clear all bets are off; I'm very much looking forward to the full release.
